Antony aka Ant.
He is a skilled grafter working to the current building regulations, Ant did my job solo keeping down the cost, 2 windows and a 7ft door cut out with associated lintels and steel, 1 doorway bricked up and moved a outside drain, full clean up and all wast removed, I can highly recommend Antony

They attended at short notice I was planning to do the rest of the work myself however time was becoming a issue

This company arranged at short notice for a electrician and a plaster to complete the work that I needed finishing

I would 100% recommended this company

And I have even saved the company’s number in n my phone just incase I need anymore work competing in the future

We chose Ant (AJF Builders) as the quote was very competitive and he’d previously done some work for a family member who recommended him. Ant built a single storey rear extension and a two storey side extension for us and we’re really pleased with how they turned out - definitely everything we hoped for. Ant is very friendly so we always felt comfortable with him and his team being in our home. When problems occurred, Ant always worked with us to find a solution. Overall we’re very happy with our new extended house and recommend his services.

We can't recommend Antony enough, he's such a lovely bloke, clean, tidy, no job too much hassle and a complete professional.

We had a few issues with our build (no fault of Antony's) hidden man hole which resulted in 2 new man holes being dug, Antony dealt with Yorkshire Water and made sure the process was as easy as possible to get this sorted for us

When we accidently pulled down an old wall, he came and rebuilt it us and sourced the right bricks so that it matched

Antony is such a friendly and reliable bloke and with the extension we had I felt more than comfortable with him being in our home, my little boy (4 year old) loved him, he even let him have a go on his digger as he is construction mad

You'll not find a more reliable and hard working builder, he managed everything from start to finish and even when I changed my mind he spent the time to listen to my ideas and suggestion and gave his honest professional opinion and advice

I would recommend to anyone and will certainly be using again

Ant and his team were a joy to have around, diligent and ready to communicate at each stage of the build.
The extension itself was an awkward shape, needed drainage redirecting and incurred unforseen difficulties. Non-the-less, Ant dealt with the issues, and within the budget quoted and according to the spec.
Would recommend for sure.

Re built a wall for me and went ahead with AJF because they were affordable, had all other good reviews and could complete the job the next week. Did a good job at a good price and wasn’t a straight forward wall. Would definitely use again, highly recommend.
