We wanted to upgrade our dark loft space into a usable area for both clean storage and as an office. We got in touch with Wolf Design and Build and was contacted soon after by Tim. He came to the house and discussed all the options and what might need replacing and upgrading. We also discussed realistic outcomes based on our budget.On reviewing our loft he explained the two options, one being an official loft conversion and the other a developed loft. Tim was open and honest on his assessment and given the confines of the loft, a developed loft space was the option available to us without altering the buildings roof structure. We were able to make an informed decision from his assessment and felt confident enough to proceed along with a new roof.Throughout the whole process, Tim was always available to contact, and he provided continuous updates to the build schedule when we wanted additional features factoring in. All the trade persons were arranged by Tim and flexible around us and we are pleased with the outcome. The work was completed in a short period of time without gaps in the work. Based on our experience we would recommend Wolfe Design and Build (and have already done so!).

Tim and his team were always very friendly and helpful during our project, which was a kitchen ground floor knock through into an existing single storey extension. The finished kitchen and dining area is just what we wanted and has transformed the space.

We were impressed by communications, initial progress of work despite the pandemic (work commenced in Feb 2021) and each trade who we would happily use again.

We created a design sketch for our kitchen, which didn't always appear to have been passed on to all the necessary parties, however any resulting issues or queries were resolved.

Overall, we would recommend Tim and Wolfe Construction and we felt that the price for our job was fair.

We had a large garden overhaul last summer, and some companies didn't even get back to us. Tim, Tommy and the guys worked for weeks in all weather, with an ever changing landscape to deal with as we didn't know what we would uncover next. The old garden was completely revamped. Sheds knocked down and gone, 40m2 patio installed, large rear wall, 24M of new fencing, 80m2 of synthetic grass, 12 skips out and over 80 tonnes of aggregate in to make everything higher and level with the house. Not for the faint-hearted, but Wolfe Design and Build weren't phased and worked with us to achieve what we wanted, to make our garden low maintenance for our little one. Highly recommended if you want a professional job.

In December 2019 disaster struck at our cottage on the shores of Coniston, Cumbria. The water tank in the loft had corroded and spilt its contents everywhere. The water kept on coming until this was discovered. By this time the bathroom ceiling had collapsed and the kitchen ceiling was bulging in places. The bathroom suite and tiles needed replacing, a new laminate laid and decoration.
This was an insurance job, in part. Things were elongated by obtaining a number of quotes the insurers did not like. They asked me to obtain more. I had already gone to builders who were recommended to me, so this time I got numbers from the Federation of Master Builders. I rang Tim of Woolfe Design.
He immediately put me at ease. He was so friendly and understanding. He provided me with a quote quickly and just as quickly the insurance company agreed it.
When I asked when he could start, he said 4 to 6 weeks. Then he got back to me and said that with some juggling he could start much earlier. Normally I am chasing contractors so it was a pleasant surprise to have him telephone me!
At all times Tim's communication has been second to none. Regular updates, what's app, email, text and importantly he never took longer to get back to me than a day on any query. Usually he was back to me within hours.
I was so impressed with his professionalism that I asked him to do some extra jobs for me while his men were there. What a joy it was to speak to one person rather than arranging an electrician, plumber, heating engineer, builder, roofer and decorator all myself.
He was entirely upfront and honest all along and I am very pleased the cottage is back to its wonderful former glory.
There was no issue with the very few snags I had. They were resolved without question.

And I never met Tim. We arranged everything via phone etc because I was not on hand. Hugely convenient for me.
All in all, please use this company. You don't need to look anywhere else.
