Would seriously not recommend this company. Start the work and then don’t see them again for weeks. They know you will find it hard to find another builder to finish the work they started. My husband is paralyzed from the neck down and having the work completed in a good time frame was of utmost importance. I had mentioned that we may get help (grant) to complete the adjustments needed to support him but that this could take up to 12 months and that we would be paying for the work in the meantime and we were happy to pay as each job was done. Do not trust this company. Darren will promise you anything to get the contract. They took the wall down and said that’s all they would do until we got the grant. That’s it for 12 months? I constantly stressed the urgency of this work being done to accommodate my husband. Neither will they provide us with a certificate for the building work completed or give details of the surveyor used to calculate the steel joist needed to support the wall despite numerous requests for this. Emails are ignored constantly. They just don’t reply. They have left us with no choice but to take further action……update!!! Darren rang me 2 days after this review. He was not happy and I asked him what part of the review did he think was untrue?
Outcome.. he said that he was unaware that we had not received our structure certificate. Really Darren?!After all the emails sent to Newman and More asking for it. Promised that he would apply for it next day (Friday) and we would receive it by Monday. No way would the local council act that fast! False promises again! Still not received it. I Stand by my review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Have blocked Darren from contacting me via phone. Should Newman and Moore wish to contact me regarding this review please do so via email only. Any other form of contact will be filmed and recorded. Do not approach me in person, come to my home or telephone myself or my husband.

As for the post regarding people giving negative reviews. If only people were kind and fair. At best I can only hope for this company to feel some shame in their actions. Or lack of!!!

They started some work for us but never completed it. They ignored my numerous phone calls. They kept promising to phone back but never did. It caused us significant disruption. In the end we had the water booster pump (which they had unnecessarily installed for the previous occupiers) removed.

I have used this company for many years from boiler installation, service and other plumbing issues. I have always found the courtious and efficient . Clean and tidy in there work manner . They are not the cheapest but I have never had any problems . I recently had some building work done to house an American fridge freezer and I have been very happy . Advice is always excellent and not pressurised.
