I highly recommend ArcWest Architects. We worked with Kevin and his team to create design and full construction drawings for a substantial remodel and expansion of our 1880’s Victorian house in northeast Denver. Kevin and his team were creative and offered innovative solutions but also took our ideas and integrated them seamlessly. They also supported us through a complex permitting and variance process with the City of Denver and were adaptable and accommodating when we had to make major revisions to the plans to scale back on the initial design. Throughout the project, the team was fun to work with and very professional. Kevin has also remained engaged during construction and he and his team are coordinating with the builder in a timely and constructive manner when needed. The builder Saul Construction was recommended by Kevin. Tim Saul and his team have been great to work with. Our onsite project manager is conscientious, responsive to our questions and continues to demonstrate his expertise resolving the unexpected issues that surface when remodeling older homes. So far, our experience with ArcWest Architects and Saul Construction has been a wonderful one.

Kevin and the team at ArcWest were a perfect fit for our ADU in Sunnyside. They came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint. Besides our unusual lot specifications, we also needed a variance for our project. Kevin shepherded us through that process and made it as painless as possible. They were easy to work with and were very responsive to our needs during all phases of construction. Again, highly recommended!

Robin at ArcWest did an outstanding job creating design concepts and full construction drawings for our new garage. The design matches our shingle victorian house beautifully and Robin was expeditious about incorporating changes that I requested along the way. After design was done, he referred my to a general contractor that did a great job on the build -- even the city inspector commented on the quality work. One small mistake came up during the build and Robin showed up within a few hours to sort out the issue with the contractor. All was resolved smoothly and to my liking. ArcWest provided quality engineering work and support throughout the whole process!

Kevin and his team were a great choice for our Sunnyside bungalow addition. Having lived in our home for 10 years and appreciating the architecture in our neighborhood, we didn't want to scrape our house and rebuild something that didn't fit our area.
He listened to our concerns and designed something that would compliment our neighbors and keep it within budget.

We worked with Kevin Anderson and the ArcWest team to design and build an ADU behind our Victorian home in NW Denver in a historical district (“Landmark”). This is our first experience with new construction and we had no idea how essential and multi-faceted a great architect is and feel so fortunate we were able to work with Kevin. At first we assumed that the role of an architect was just to work with us to generate the plans, but Kevin has been a wonderful thought partner and expert advisor to work with at every phase. From the first hand sketches to patiently tweaking room layouts in the construction plans. From being our representative at multiple agency approval meetings to problem solving issues that cropped up along the way. Kevin draws from decades of experience (esp from living and working in North Denver) and has a top-notch team of staff and consultant partners (surveyors, structural engineers). If your project is in a historical district in Denver, it's invaluable to have someone as seasoned as Kevin on your team. Our project got caught up in the tightening of historical standards and zoning enforcement and ran into a slew of frustrating complications and delays. Kevin saved our project and our sanity. He has so much experience with the approval boards and their processes. He was a crucial guide and advocate as we navigated labyrinthine requirements and negotiations. We are so happy with our new ADU and cannot imagine how we could have completed it without him and Arcwest.

I couldn’t recommend Kevin Anderson and his team any higher. They are extremely professional and fun to work with. We worked with Kevin and his team in 2016-18 on our significant home addition and ADU in the Potter Highlands. Kevin was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Landmark approval process.
