Woke up on my birthday to what i thought was present on my door step. It turned out to be my facia, which wasnt quite the present i had hoped for. Colin was fantastic at getting back to me in a timely manor. He listen to my concerns and instinctively pick up on the stress it was causing. His calm approach and professionalism from start to finish, has filled me with confidence and i would recommend his services to anyone.

Having been in the industry myself and working alongside many great trades people including his father Don Clarke. It is comforting to know good reliable trades people are still out there. Its a great pleasure to give him 5 stars i would hive him more if i could.

He completely renovated our main roof, including new battens and felt, repairing some of the main timberwork in the roof structure, new fascia boards and guttering, and significant repairs to dormer windows. I'd heard some horror stories locally of people getting bodged roofing jobs from outfits in unmarked white vans following a relatively expensive quote, so decided to go with a reputable local roofer. I was delighted with the quality of work of Colin's outfit - he did recommend while fixing my roof that my ridge tiles would benefit from re-bedding, which I also had done while the scaffolding was up. An excellent service - it's better to wait a bit and get a job done properly!

I am not normally moved to post, but Colin has earned it. My elderly Father who was the sole carer for my Mother collapsed. We live 2.5 hours away. When we got to them the roof was leaking, the central heating was off, and it was pouring with rain. The house was freezing. I looked on the internet expecting to spend hours trying to find someone to help us. I found Colin and rang him. I was surprised when he answered the phone. I explained the situation. He said he was working nearby and that he would be with us in 30 minutes, True to his word he was. Despite being busy he was sensitive to the situation and gave us his time. He told me not to worry and focus on Mum and Dad whilst he fixed the roof. Despite being busy Colin repaired the roof in 2 days. Within weeks Mum was dead and Dad died 6 months later. It was a challenging time and Colin put everything down and came to help us. He made a real difference.
My Aunt lives nearby. She said they had an excellent roofer of their own who she would not hesitate to recommend. She was full of praise for him.
Guess what? It turned out to be Colin!

Colin, Harry and Ben have recently completed work on our roof valleys and part of the roof which leaked due to holes when the rain and wind came in from a different direction to the norm. Although we had a wait for Colin to get to us due to his overwhelming work load caused by the pandemic and the recent storms he kept in regular contact giving us estimated date for starting the work and ensuring we were happy and had no further problems with the roof. However, he did say that should we need him to come sooner than the arranged date he would do his best to do a temporary repair,

An amazing job done as they all worked extremely hard, clean and tidy, we’re very conscientious, very polite and a pleasure to have working on the roof. Our neighbours either side were so impressed one has also used Colin since and the other have taken his details.

We have no hesitation in not only using Colin again or recommending him for any roofing work.

Colin is very eager to deliver the highest quality of customer service. He is consistent, reliable and provides a quality service and great communication all the way.

This is the second time Colin has done repairs for me. First the ridge tiles after the storms this time it was my leaking gutter. He is very helpful and his work is excellent, and a fair price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
