Vic and his men did a huge renovation on our home back in the summer, I was very apprehensive about having so much work done , basically the entire down stairs of our house the kitchen/dining room/ living room/hallway. Vic soon put me and my husband at ease though, he is very methodical and really listens to you and any concerns you may have and all the finer details are discussed at length and given much consideration. I cannot fault his team! Polite, friendly, approachable always on time and so clean and tidy we enjoyed having them around and knew our home was in very safe hands! The renovation was from May to August as we had some exterior work done aswel. The project did over stretch it's original deadline for unforseen issues, but any issues Vic dealt with swiftly and professionally. A massive thank you to Vic, Eddie, Jim, Chris, Scott, Matt and the 2 fellas (whose names i didn't catch) who delivered our kitchen with Jodi the black lab!! Thankyou for making our home so very lovely! Your hard work will never be forgotten. We would definetly go to Vic again for any future works needed. This is a company you can trust with honest hardworking professionals.

On the very unfortunate occasion of having to make an insurance claim following a leak in our kitchen, which had gone unnoticed as it was from a pipe located behind a kitchen cupboard, we needed to find a builder quickly. The damage was extensive, requiring the whole kitchen to be stripped out and the floor taken up. We were unimpressed by the builders recommended by our insurers’ panel and so turned to the Derbyshire County Council Trusted Trader website. Impressed by the Alison Builders Story on the Trusted Trader website we made contact with them, explained our predicament and Vic Fell duly attended our property to inspect the extent of the damage and give a detailed quotation in accordance with the report from our Insurance Company’s Loss Adjusters. Alison Builders were able to provide services for the entire project from start to finish which was key for us given our dilemna. Dealing with the Insurance Company was far from easy for us, but Vic was there to give professional guidance and support, and we felt reassured that he was there to make a bad situation better. There were many delays with our insurers, but Vic was patient and understanding of our situation. When work was eventually able to commence we noticed that on meeting anyone from Alison Builders they all wore garments displaying the Company name and their own personal name. Immediately on arrival, before any works commenced, the builders laid down adhesive plastic carpet protector in the conservatory and adhesive plastic floor protector in the utility room so as not to soil the carpet and floor. Jim and Eddie, the builders, worked together flawlessly with such expertise and knowledge, their attention to detail is incredible, they make a real solid team. Their skills were tested on a few occasions but, together, they quickly overcame the issues. We made some changes along the way, some initiated by the builders, but some were initiated by us, but the changes were discussed and incorporated with ease and professionalism. We honestly didn’t think this level of service existed anymore, they take great pride in their work, resulting in our completed kitchen exceeding all our expectations. The staff are all punctual, trustworthy, pleasant and hard working. Alison Builders’ statement on the Trusted Trader website is something they truly mean and stand by. On the final day, when the kitchen was completed, and they left it was somewhat bittersweet. We would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this Company and hope our review will assist anyone in making a decision about choosing a dependable and professional building company who go way above and beyond to please their customers. Vic and his team completely renovated our cottage whilst we were in the USA. They did a superb job and very thankful for their services. Everyone in our village commented on how professional they were. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Very excellent indeed.
