TAS Architects designed the most beautiful contemporary version of a Suffolk barn for us, on the footprint of an ancient one that was past repair. Full of space and light, the building has a gentleness that seeps into everyone who stays there (I'm not sure how the architects did that!). They were also a joy to work with – receptive, willing to explore with us, and able to translate our vague ideas into a wonderful building. We can wholeheartedly recommend them and would love the opportunity to work with them again.

We worked with Christophe Spiers at TAS architects to fully modernise and extend our Victorian townhouse in London. We interviewed quite a few architects for the project and landed with TAS because they came across as both very professional and genuinely passionate about the project. And I can honestly say that they did not disappoint. The two most important things an architect needs to do on a project like this is to conceptualise and design a beautiful home but also to project manage the process. TAS did both these tasks amazingly. They created beautiful designs that considered our needs and aesthetic, including making various changes and updates for budget and planning considerations. They then managed the project on our behalf, closely supervising the execution on a weekly basis. I particularly loved how Christophe was there for every question we had (and there were many!)

The end result is stunning and more than we could have hoped for. Thank you for a great collaboration. I would use Christophe again in a heart beat.

As a building professional I have worked with Christophe and Lizzie at TAS Architects on a wide range of projects over a number of years and they have always been a pleasure to deal with at each phase of a build, to the extent that I engaged them to design our own house. Their designs are elegant, very well thought through, and they understand budget. What is especially useful, and surprisingly rare, is their in-depth knowledge of construction details and the build process - they always have an intelligent and quick response to any site query, which makes our job on site that much easier. Highly recommend them.

Christophe and Lizzie entirely understood our objectives with a major renovation/rebuild and extension to our 1960s era Colt house. They helped us create a wonderful space that was sympathetic to both the era of the house and its rural surroundings. They were both great to work with, communicated well, helped problem solve and guided us through the steps and the process. We are ever so grateful to have worked with the TAS team to realise our ambitions for our family home!
