Being new to the area we had no contacts to advise on builders when we were planning major renovations to our house. We asked several local companies to quote. We chose S&J based on the level of detail in their quote and the feeling when meeting Andrew and George of their commitment to do the best possible job for us. We are now 12 weeks into phase 1 of the build and are really pleased with progress. S&J are meticulous in the quality of their workmanship, employ tradesmen who are a pleasure to have in the house, and are very good at communicating. Staged payments for the work are on track, and where we have asked for extras, the costs of these are agreed before proceeding. We are altogether very pleased, are happy to use them again, and would highly recommend them.
