We used CS Surveying and Architectural design Ltd for our plans to get a new build house. Where others failed John and his team managed to take us through the entire process including the appeal against the councils decision to deny it.

The upshot being we now have plans fully approved for a wonderful new home. We had genuinely given up hope of it happening before we engaged with John. Others failed to get it done for us but John succeeded.

I cannot recommend the services enough. Professional, polite, regular updates and a cracking sense of humour.

CS have done TWO level 3 (full) structural surveys for me in the past 6 months in south Yorkshire. One for a very large 20 year-old house, the other for an 1800's older character property with beams and inglenook etc. I've been delighted with both surveys. Very thorough, and the style of the reports made them very readable. Sensibly priced. The survey was done when they promised, and arrived by email when they promised. Several weeks later I sent a few queries, and again 2 weeks after that. All was responded to clearly and quickly.
I strongly recommend them.

Please do not use this company. The experience we have had is shocking. They wrongly identified the type of flooring. There is a common problem in our area of properties that have been built using materials no longer in building regs. Some of our neighbours have had their foundations redone due to their building surveyors identifying this defect and getting money off the property.

I have sent a formal complaint and followed their procedures but have heard nothing. We are looking at £30000+ to replace the floors, flooring, accommodation costs for a month etc Please avoid.

Highly recommend CS Surveying. Me and my partner debated about getting a survey done on the house we are planning to buy. After doing research we are glad we did.

We did some research on potential surveyors and we were very happy with CS Surveying. They were quick to respond and they offered a very good price for the survey we wanted.

We went for a level 3 survey and we got the report back in less than a week. We were very happy with the report we got back, it was informative and easy to understand. They picked up stuff which we couldn’t see when we viewed the property. Whilst there was only minor repairs that needed doing to the house, it brought us peace of mind that the house is structurally sound and well maintained.
