great spot to check out when in Ybor!! pottery making was so inviting that I didn't realize I spent 3hrs there. John was beyond patient on guiding us through and saving us when there was a trouble/s. went back on second day with my nephew and niece for painting and they loved it!! can't wait going back coloring my very first pottery piece!!!

First time In tampa. I stumbled upon this cute little art space and got to spend the afternoon there. There’s so much to do. And luckily I had to opportunity to meet Zoey who was very helpful. I came in by myself and she guided me every step of the way. Because I was leaving in a few days. We were unable to cure my pottery piece so we had some fun and got to throw it on the wall. Really unique place. Highly recommend.

Such a cool place! Since the moment I entered I was greeted and explained everything they did and options I had to choose from. From painting or creating your own piece. Super nice and patient. Once we got the hang of it they let our own creativity shine and we appreciated it. Definitely a place to go for a chill cool vibe with memories to share.

Once you’ve spent your money, Good luck receiving any type of good hospitality. My piece was unable to be found and was told “ It could have blown up in the kiln “ ( it was later found ) The employee, however, did not want to help search for it. Was extremely rude & Once I called The man on the phone Answered And it was the same employee from the store. Rude and nasty. There are so many other Pottery places, This place is a joke and can’t even stick to the deadlines they create on getting your pieces back. Horribly disorganized and dirty. This place doesn’t deserve any type of business if they treat people the way they do after they mess up continuously.

Almost forgot they are also scamming customers,
It’s $50 to do the pottery wheel And was supposed to include The painting, glazing everything, etc. as was told by the employee and It has both times I have previously went also. Now they are charging extra for the next steps.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. If I could rate 0/5 stars I would. I'm very disappointed in DRIP Ybor. Our instructor for the pottery wheel class made it clear she was not interested in teaching and she was only there because they allowed her to use their large kilns when she is not working. She had no patience during our class and kept trying to rush us through the session so she could go on break. She even told us she “could do our pieces for us so we could hurry up”. When we came back a few weeks later, they had mislabeled our pieces and told us there was nothing they could do since the pieces had "gone missing". We scavenged the entire place until we found our pieces (some were broken) in the wrong section of the pottery studio. When we asked to paint the pieces that were not broken they said it was ADDITIONAL money to paint the pieces. When I paid a few weeks ago I explicitly asked if the price included the pottery wheel class, painting, glazing etc and our instructor said YES! This place is a scam. I'm truly disappointed in how they run this business. As I stated above, I would rate it 0/5 stars if Google allowed me to.

I’m really happy about the relocation. I’ve visited both locations and the old place was a super tight fit! The new one is a lot more spacious and overall better vibe. While most of the people there are helpful, I will say some are more patient than others and have different teaching styles. I started my piece in late March but didn’t come back to paint it until late May and it was ready by mid June. I would say that the process was slower due to the move but I’m happy with the overall project and would recommend this for a date night, friend gathering or team event.
