Having decided to make our kitchen and dining room ‘open plan’ it was necessary to employ a structural engineer to produce the required structural drawings and calculations. Having explored several other engineers it was clear that the team at Rowntree had a solid grasp of the work required, and they also provided us with a very competitive quote.

We dealt with Wayne throughout, who was both approachable and professional. The site survey was conducted quickly and efficiently, and the required drawings and calculations produced in a timely manner.

Due to unforeseen site conditions it was necessary to make several of alterations and amendments to the drawings. Wayne was attentive to these, and was happy to revise the drawings as required. He was also very patient and understanding to talk these revisions through with both me and my building contractor.
