Throughout our recent house purchase, Truelove were friendly, professional, patient and very helpful.

We absolutely love our new and forever home, and our contact at Truelove (Sophie) was the most supportive contact I had throughout the entire process, support which was much appreciated in the face of a rubbish mortgage broker and a slow bank!

All queries relating to our future home were dealt with promptly and in full, and it felt like there was nothing we could ask that would be too small and silly or too large and complex.

Even once we'd signed the contracts and moved in we could contact Truelove with ease about anything and get a prompt if not almost immediate friendly and helpful response.

I felt safe purchasing our first home from Truelove and would recommend them if you're looking to buy a gorgeous house, with the vital support through the process you deserve through such a major life decision.

Bought this new home in July after owning a Truelove property for 8 years. The quality of the spec had improved greatly, I was impressed with the doors and general fixings. You will always get snagging in any new property, some problems were slow to be repaired (relying on contractors) but were fixed and to a good standard. I would give 5 stars for the house but 4 stars for the purchasing aspect. Difficult to get prices for additional extras against budget given from the builder. Overall we are extremely pleased now that we have settled

We have recently purchased a house from Truelove Properties on the Barrow upon Humber site and we can honestly say the house is fantastic and well built. The finish on these homes are top class and we are very happy with the purchase. Truelove properties also go out there way to make the move so relaxing and with no complications and the exchange was very smooth with no hassle. Truelove also allow you to add your own touch to the houses and they are the only builder in the area we have found who would allow us to do this and we have moved into the house of our dreams and this is down to Truelove properties.

This company is an absolute joke and the most unprofessional bunch of people I've ever had the 'pleasure' to deal with.
The sales girl Claudia is absolutely useless and has no clue what's going on. She can be downright rude and has clearly no idea what it means to people to buy a house, she acts like it's a privilege to be buying a house from Truelove! If ever there is a problem, it takes her a very long time to get back to you, if she is bothered at all.
Barrie Truelove, the director and supposed site manager is another joker. He admits he doesn't like to deadlines and therefore doesn't work to them - unsurprisingly all houses on the road were delivered 6 months later than originally promised! Barrie is barely ever on site, and the builders clearly have no respect for this man. This has also meant they have no respect for the houses they built either, as some have been seen taking a pee at the house while others find it appropriate to have a number two in the toilets of people's brand new houses!
If you are buying a house from these people, be mindful that all 'snags' take about six months to fix, and that your main problem is going to be the plumbing - all houses that have been sold in the last twelve months have had leaks, most of them more than once.
The houses itself are lovely once all the snags are done, and the area is great, but I wouldn't recommend these cowboys to anyone.

EDIT 29/7: Dear Jackie, thanks for your reply however we are sick of the attitude of the people that work for your company, which has been proven by the total lack of respect shown by your relative Matt today. I want to make other people aware of what kind of company Truelove Property really are so they know what they get themselves into beforehand.
The fact that you've had some of your mates post fake reviews says it all.

We still have minor outstanding’s but this would not have changed my mind buying a Truelove property again.
Overall the quality and build is very good compared to bigger companies and larger developments.
Only a point having lived in for a while now that the overall build quality is slightly let down with the finishing touches.
It is an executive home and quality overall build the slabbing and patio finish poor although the building materials second to none from what I have seen.

As a building company I think it would benefit from a specific snagging team, this would have the added benefit of: Closing items faster, targeting in one sweep avoiding countless emails and calls.
This team could then switch roles to be a follow up team thus giving the customer satisfaction a new level.

Although appreciate Claudia's efforts her time is spread too thin and although she may action items it is difficult to have a vision on those items actioned, to be actioned and missed without constant follow up on the customers side,

For Truelove to move to the next level, think bigger by thinking smarter.

I rented a property from this company for a year and all I can say is there is nothing negative at all. They leave you alone when you want them too and are there when you need them what more can you ask for I had some complicated situations that needed their help and they went above and beyond. I would rent from them again anytime. Sophie is especially amazing and even the finance team are exceptional.

We would like to congratulate Truelove on staying with us for an entire year when we had problems selling our property. When we first drove by the plot on Midby Park, Barrow we fell in love with it and after several internal design changes we have the house we always dreamt of. The extra touches and aftercare from the team...managed by Claudia...have been excellent and we have every confidence that all the snags will be dealt with. Speaking to the neighbours we all agree that a new build in Barrow was a great choice. We are currently getting ready to enter our first Barrow Barrow competition too, can't wait!
If I had one complaint it is that too many of the original trees have been cut down at the front of the Park. I hope that they are to be replaced as the site plan suggests.
