Extremely pleased with the work that Alastair and team did for us . We had a large two story extension and complete renovation of an Edwardian house in Norwich . He and his team worked well with the planners to ensure permission was granted . It was despite objection from a neighbour so take that is his design worked for the planners . He worked well with the building contractor when required . The project is now complete and we are delighted

Alastair and his team have done a terrific job with the design phase of my project. He and James really listened to my needs and my ideas and then came up with a very elegant solution, creating a whole new roof structure which was the key to making an ugly and dysfunctional old bungalow into a really livable modern home. The planning process was enough to make anyone go grey but Alastair remained calm and determined throughout, working well with a private planning consultant. We haven't got to the construction phase yet but I have full confidence that working with Alastair and the team will continue to be successful and a pleasure.

Alastair and team are working with us to design an annexe for our disabled son. The process has been challenging as our house is listed and there were planning complications. In consequence Alastair has twice had to come up with excellent creative solutions with a very limited ground footprint. Throughout the process he and the team have been very patient and supportive. Planning approval has now been granted and we look forward to his support as we progress from plans to reality.

We contacted Howie after a recommendation from a local builder. In our initial meet I was very thorough and had prepared sketches of how we'd like to develop our house. We went through them in detail. Alistair took pics of my sketches. He said we can do this and suggested the first thing we need to do was pay £1140 for 'as is' drawings to be produced. We agreed and they came and measured up. At this point a new guy was introduced. It's likely he'd been given no brief and hadn't seen the pics of the sketches I'd done? We received plans for something completely different? The reasoning was that what we wanted to do wasn't possible? Surely you'd tell someone that before taking £1140 of them for 'as is' drawings? A complete waste of money that we'll never get back. Poor poor service in my humble opinion. Be very careful and agree that what you want to do can be done before splashing out cash for the 'as is' to be measured and drawn up. If it can't be done you should be told up front. There should at least be a suggestion that it's unlikely?
