My sister and I visited Project Cannabis yesterday, and our experience was exceptional thanks to Ron Alvarado. My sister has a neurological condition that requires medicinal cannabis, and we were welcomed with genuine kindness, empathy, and patience. Ron’s compassion and beautiful personality made all the difference. He took the time to understand my sister’s needs, allowing her to manage her episode in a safe space and guiding her toward the right strain, similar to what she uses back home in Oregon.

Project Cannabis is set up like a boutique dispensary, with a wide variety of selections for both medicinal and recreational needs. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also deeply committed to helping each person find the right product for their specific needs. The atmosphere is very clean and safe. Upon entry, you’re greeted by an admissions area where ID verification is required, and then you’re assisted into the back area—a beautifully designed boutique space.

Really nice first time experience with Tanya. She was super friendly and offered some great suggestions for infused prerolls. The selection overall seemed large and she mentioned they were a community shop. Which are getting harder and harder to find in LA

Stopped by real quick to buy a cart before work and ran into Max behind the counter. Super nice guy and great to connect with about the cart I was buying being the right fit for my vape mod. Jasmin was super friendly. Usually my go to brand is Miss Grass, but they only had a limited selection, so she suggested some other similar brands. She was very knowledge about the type of brands that they sell. Overall a positive first experience here

Ahem,

Tonight I drove to Project cannabis to gift myself a very large blunt after a very long, very difficult, 20 day project. The, I don’t think I showered the whole time, type of stress. I DESERVED THIS BLUUUUNT!!!

So….Ron suggested Sluggers’ Rainbow Road. Which funny enough I was curious about when I first walked in, already Ron was the master. *chef’s kiss*. We walked to the register. I asked Ron if I could just use my purse since it was big enough to carry all of my product. He was cool with it. As Ron scanned my items, I then put them in my purse. My total-$203 but listen…..I DESERVED WHATEVER I WANTED!!! And maybe a shower.

Anyway…

I got out my debit card and a part of me thought that this was my old one that had just been replaced. But I decided to just believe? Anyway, of course it was declined. I knew immediately what had happened. I live down the street so I told Ron I would be right back, and as I turned, he questioned me innocently, “uhh, the product?”. I can’t believe what it looked like was doing!

What a chill way to be called out without embarrassment . Thanks Ron, appreciate the benefit of the doubt.

Long story short - it’s a happy ending, and I am cruising down the rainbow road - in it’s entirety
