From the very first on-site meeting with Kevin Viney at Rainbow Building Plumbing & Electrical Services we were confident in the advice given, and suggestions made. Major building renovations are a daunting task, so with Rainbow we felt we would be in safe hands if we engaged them. And we weren’t disappointed.

Throughout the project those things that were most important to us were achieved, many requiring precision down to the millimetre. And when unforeseen issues arose, as they do in older buildings, whilst these caused us some sleepless nights, Rainbow confidently dealt with them enabling us to return to calm and carry on.

Mark Burns, the builder and project manager, has been amazing with his wide knowledge, craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail - and his calm manner under pressure, has resulted in every aspect of the work carried out by Rainbow to be of a high standard and the best it could be.

Thank you Rainbow - and if ever we are crazy enough to embark on another renovation project we would definitely be calling you to see it through.

Kev and the team did a wonderful job on our kitchen and even managed to get it all back working in a week! They did encounter some plumbing issues in the house (downside of an old house!) which Tom the plumber rectified quickly. We found Kev and the team honest, reliable and very polite and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again ourselves.

A massive thanks to Kev and his team for a brilliant job on my bathroom renovation which included the removal of a non-load bearing internal wall, full damp proofing, building stud wall, carpentry, plumbing installation and flooring.

Kev was really responsive and always on hand to answer any of my questions and Mark, Brett and Garry were really professional and helpful along the way.

We engaged Rainbow to have internal painting and decorating of most of a 4 bedroom detached house. The work was completed to a very high standard in a very reasonable timeframe. The painter, Danny Howard, is a very nice guy, he's very courteous, kept us informed of progress and always tidied up. Rainbow Building Plumbing & Electrical Services recently moved a kitchen and a boiler to new rooms within the house for us. The work required involved kitchen fitting, plastering, carpentry, flooring, electrical work, plumbing, and fixing a balcony leak. We were more than satisfied with all the work they did. Kev and his team were very professional, efficient, and worked really hard to complete everything within the proposed timeframe.

Although I didn’t meet the entire team, Garry who did the plumbing and gas work, was always patient and answered any questions we had. James and his team of electricians were excellent too, while carrying out the work we requested, they identified and fixed a number of other electrical problems that we weren't aware of when we first moved into the property. The finished kitchen turned out great, and all of the workmanship was excellent.

Overall, I found Rainbow Building Services to be very reliable and professional and would highly recommend Kev’s team to anyone who needs any work done on their home.
