Justin, Allison and the team project managed our 10 month complete renovation and we’re so pleased with the results. We really enjoyed working with the team and would recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home.

We stripped the house back to the exterior walls, knocked down numerous walls, moved the staircase, rebuilt an extension, rewired, re-plumbed and new windows! It was a complex project where we had specific design outcomes we wanted to achieve, and the team worked hard with us, to ensure we got the “look” we wanted.

The project was delivered on time (10 months versus est. 9 months) despite some unforeseen structural issues that cropped up. The team’s initial quote wasn’t the cheapest but when we adjusted like-for-like they were all broadly similar, and we found theirs was far more detailed and thought out. As a result, costs largely reflected reality and overruns were primarily due to our decisions that changed the scope or spec.

Allison and Justin’s project management capabilities meant that we had very little day-to-day involvement in the first half of the project and the team resolved issues often without needing to involve us.

Justin’s experience meant he was always a voice of calm and reassurance for us, and we greatly appreciated all of his creative suggestions which often saved us time or issues later.

Our project was the third project that Justin’s team has completely for our wider family, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Elphinston Wells took care of the complete refurbishment and extension of our 5-bedroom house. Justin has a very keen eye for design which in turn fed into all the solutions he suggested never compromising the quality of material used and team working for speed. From the start, his attention to details saved us from mistakes or changes further down the line which would have been both costly and time-consuming. The friendly professional team and contractors have always been polite, neat, on time whatever the weather and helpful beyond requirements. The site was always kept tidy and hazard-free. We never felt worried about leaving the house and project in their very capable hands while going away on holidays. This transparency was also true for the schedule and budget which was always very details and on which Elphinston Wells communicated regularly. Allison, like everybody else in the team is a joy to work with, she made the whole project stress free. Any questions or issues would be dealt with without delay. Justin and his team delivered a great work of the highest standard throughout. We couldn’t be more pleased therefore, we would absolutely recommend Elphinston Wells.
