Open Practice architecture provided Chesterton Primary School with a new entrance building, family meeting room and reception area. This bold but sensitive intervention brought clarity to the collection of school buildings.
Throughout the process OPA worked closely with the school’s leaders and governors to ensure a fit for purpose design for this busy and successful school. Care was taken to blend the intervention with adjacent buildings and maximise the relationship with the outdoors. The result is a stunning, light filled and welcoming space.
