AVOID AT ALL COSTS ACORN PECKHAM! As seller and buyer. We put on offer on a house that Acorn Peckham was selling and the price was agreed - it was all documented in an email, agent Louise King. We completed the AML checks. Hired Acorn to also sell our flat, so that we can buy the house. The regional director George Liney valued the flat. We were assigned Carly Clark who during the 4 months contract only managed 2 viewings for the flat (one being our neighbour in the building). Acorn were overall extremely difficult to get a hold of for the whole time, very unresponsive. So the whole time we got no feedback on viewings, no advice on pricing strategy, nothing at all from them. Once the flat selling contract expired, we told them we're not renewing, and went with another agent. Louise King at Acorn NOT ONCE mentioned any changes in regard to the house we were buying from them (no mention of new offers, or property going back on the market - on Zoopla it was listed as STC the entire time!). Meanwhile we hired a new agent to sell the flat; got an offer agreed on it, and contacted Acorn to move on with the house purchase. Just to find out it had been sold months prior!!!!! But that Acorn NEVER bothered to let us a new offer had made on the house. WE ARE IN SHOCK! ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE!!
