We recently entrusted our home renovations to James from Coast Projects, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final touches, their professionalism and attention to detail were exemplary.

Budget adherence was another commendable aspect. The final cost aligned with the initial estimate, and any deviations were discussed openly, demonstrating integrity and accountability. We, the clients were the ones who kept demanding more which was the only reason the budget was more the anticipated.

In conclusion, we highly recommend Team Coast, for their outstanding high-quality work, reliability, and client-centric approach. Our now beautiful home is a testament to their expertise, and we are genuinely delighted with the transformation.

Coast Projects did an absolutely superb job with a complicated kitchen installation for us throughout all the challenges lockdown offered.

There was a lot of work to do to get the space ready. James talked through every aspect and step of what could, would and did happen.

Pricing was transparent and despite some difficulties sourcing materials (due to other companies Covid restrictions) there were no unexpected add-ons or nasty surprises at the end of the job.

James was flexible with my requests and put a lot of time and effort into sourcing materials and products that at the time were not easily available.
I had my heart set on a particular thickness & colour of work surface which was not readily available and he put a lot of his own personal time and energy into finding it for me (I still LOVE it thank you James!)

Coast were also willing to do extra little bits and pieces that weren’t strictly part of the original quote.

I know James carries out some huge renovations but at no point did he make us feel the work we wanted done was too small or unimportant.

James has an excellent eye for detail and on two separate occasions did a piece of work himself to make sure it was perfect.

The crew are polite, hardworking and are very skilled. They are all carefully vetted by James himself before becoming part of the team. He and his troop are very good at finding solutions to any problems that arise. There were very few as they had thought out all aspects of the build step by step.

They painstakingly laid a beautiful cork floor for us without using adhesive (at my request) and I genuinely felt they got as much satisfaction from the finished job as we did!

I was loathe to paint our newly plastered walls as the job was so perfectly done!

They were careful to protect the remaining furniture and clean up thoroughly at the end of each day as myself and my children were living at the property whilst work was being carried out.

The end result is superb and I was happy enough with their work to hire them for a second project, which they also completed to very high standards. There will be a third at some point!

James is well connected and respected locally and if he is not able to complete a piece of work to his own exacting high standards he knows someone who can. He has recently referred to us an excellent local Stonemason who we in turn have referred onto a neighbor who is also hugely appreciative of the work carried out.

I would, without hesitation recommend James and Coast Projects. They are punctual, polite hardworking and in all = an absolutely brilliant team to have on site.

We have been considering for some time now to turn our garage into a study. For the past ten years our second bedroom has been the study but we really felt we needed our second bedroom back. Very apprehensive about getting the right builder. I have seen and know of work in the past from companies who just didn't care.

We got several quotes but decided to go with Coast. Not the cheapest but we certainly felt James was professional and knew his stuff. They have done such an excellent job. We had a great team. Peter and Ray worked so hard, to a very high standard, no slaking ! They definitely gave 110%.

It all looks amazing and everyone that walks past tells us how impressive it looks and mentions how good the workmen were.

James was on site to update and inform us what would take place each day. A very professional approach at all times. This project has put my faith back in builders that is for sure. A building company to be highly recommended.

My Architect recommended Coast Projects for the remodelling of my garage into an extension on the bungalow. I had no experience of what would be involved, I never would have imagined the work involved.
From the start James sat down and explained what would happen. Every day he would tell me what to expect and who would be turning up. He introduced me to each member of his team. His team were all friendly and polite by the end of the build they felt like family!
James was on-top of everything. Quick to respond to issues and going above and beyond his remit to help out. Nothing I asked was too difficult. My opinion was always sought and as stated in previous review, I concur, the attention to detail from James and his team, who take such a pride in what they do, made this a spectacular build.

We cannot speak highly enough of James and the Coast Projects team. We renovated our entire ground floor (kitchen, living room, knocking through two rooms, adding downstairs bathroom and opening up the back of the house) in a two month project. The work was done to a fantastic standard. The Coast team were so friendly, reliable and clear in their communications. We had neighbours telling us how considerate they were and asking for their details. It was so refreshing to work with such a professional team who clearly cared about all of the details and wanted to make sure everything was right. I would definitely recommend Coast.
