Avoid avoid avoid. My house insurer uses this company. They said it would be a 3 week job, 6 months in and only 50% of what they said would be done, completed. The standard was very poor to say the least. Caused more damage than I originally had and then done a runner. Do not use this company….

Had the pleasure of Oakwood Construction doing my house extension,They have been great from the get go. Meet with the owner bill who put me at ease straight away and talked me through every step of the process, The whole team who was involved was professional and polite. I was very impressed with the way they kept the site/my house tidy and safe as I have two toddlers and was worried while the build was going on it could be dangerous for them. They went above and beyond my expectations so helpful in getting me and my family our dream house. Can’t Praise this great company enough

Oakwood construction services did an amazing job fitting in the new flooring and decorating. We were very happy with the way they also kept the site very tidy. They progressed methodically and knew exactly what needed to be completed every day. Very professional and would highly recommend them for any construction job.

I had Oakwood over to look at some repeated dampness that was occurring on a wall in the dining room. What I imagined would be straightforward turned out not to be, as it wasn't clear what was causing the problem. I had 3 guys come over on two separate visits to identify the cause and formulate a plan of action. I worried for the quote, seeing the time and effort gone into the investigation, and was super surprised by how modest it was. The work was done, and I've never had a problem since. That was a couple of years ago now. I feel like there was plenty of chance to short cut the investigation or somehow charge for that effort, and take that fact that they didn't as desire to do a good and fair job. Thanks very much

Had Billy and Aidan do work on my house today . They were Amazing, very clean ,polite and best ever workmen I have had in my house . Have had really bad experiences in past ,but these guys have made me feel confident in having more work done. Only wish they lived local to me ,would definitely recommend them .

This company are an absolute shambles, our insurer instructed them to do a simple job, they took our excess in February and gave a start date for May. 3 days before the job was due to start we were advised the job hadn't been booked and confirmed properly due to a staffing issue. We then rescheduled and were told this would be OK, given the previous issues I called a few days before the revised start date only to be told this was not likely to be possible due to staffing issues.

I was advised I'd get a call back which never materialized and this is a recurring issue, then when I called again to be told the job wouldn't go ahead there wasn't much in the way of an apology and I did all the chasing.

I am now waiting almost 2 weeks to receive a refund of the £750 excess they've had and still not received a penny. No call to say sorry or updated me.

In short don't use them, they will waste your time and money.

Had one if your vans pull out on me at the round about for junction 2 of the M2 last night Cuxton road. Had to slam on the brakes gave the driver a flash and he tried to serve onto me. Great advert for your business sign written vans being driven like this. Got the Reg and dash cam footage!!
