Shocking (lack of) service. Months of delays, project managers walking off the job (a straitforward insurance repair) and triple contracting out for services with NO communication or accountability. Sadly most insurers use Global360 which contracts to Westone. If you have the chance to avoid them- do!

My experience with Westone can be summarised as: poor communication, poor standards of work, poor project management and no ownership or accountability.

Westone took on an insurance job appointed by our loss adjustor in May 2023. The project started with the project manager doing a ‘no show’ on Day One and provided contradictory account on why he was absent. From there on the work only started a month later and half-way through they went quiet for 2 months. After repeated chasing only for me to find out that the project manager had left the company! How on earth the firm had no idea about progress of the projects this person was handling is beyond me. After another site visit, they did send a one man band over to complete the work but we were still left with snagging issues which was raised in October and we only had another site visit in January. After which they went radio silent again. After I chased and queried on what is going to happen they then started arguing the details of the repair work and refuse to acknowledge the repair was not like for like and clearly below par for what was originally there. Throughout the past 5 months they showed no commitment to return to fix the issues.

For building work that can be completed in less than one month, it has taken them 10 months without even finishing it so I say they are fired! I would give 0 stars! How a company can manage building projects without proper records of what work needs to be carried out? How can a company do business with such blatant lack of customer focus? It is unthinkable that a company like this will survive in this day and age. Avoid at all costs!

Westone Housing Ltd were appointed by my insurers to replace my garage door that my neighbour had crashed her car into. I am totally impressed with how they dealt with my claim from start to finish. I found them very
professional. Today I had my new garage door fitted and I am over the moon with the work carried out. The tradesman were very friendly and did a great job.I definitely would recommend Westone Housing Ltd and use them again. Thank you from a very happy customer 😊

Just had work carried out for an insurance claim on our roof and sadly not impressed , started ok with surveyor then downhill. Tradesman arrived explained he had been told it was a ladder job contrary to surveyor, different tradesmen arrived no scaffolding also he was informed that I had cancelled the previous visit (untrue) and the work couldn’t be done from a ladder. I phoned my designated contract manager Sean, who informed me he would have done the job off a ladder and no scaffolding was mentioned in the survey. No contact for around a week so I made contact to be informed Scaffolding to be erected on 15th March and be cleared for the weekend, 16th March nothing happened 17th the scaffolders turned up before work started they agreed to leave and return later, I rang Sean twice with no answer so rang the office with some choice suggestions and suddenly got a call from Sean blaming the scaffolding company for just turning up (apparently not true). Anyway the work was completed on Friday, about 4 hours work for the roofer, so now I have become the owner of the scaffolding, Monday comes ,nothing,Tuesday morning nothing so i rang the office and was informed Sean was off sick and nobody knew about my scaffold so after convincing the young lady to give me the scaffolders name i contacted them to find out that they were coming that day
This started on the 3rd of February and finished on 22nd of March not bad for a four hour job that was a leaking roof, ignored phone calls and totally unnecessary lies and terrible organisation made a days work last nearly two months, never again.

From start to finish Westone Housing carried out a fantastic job in our Kitchen & Bathroom.
Tradesmen arrived when Sam said they would and always kept us up to date with progress along the way.
A great job done to a high standard.
I wouldn’t hesitate in using Westone Housing again in the future.

Insurance claim outstanding since the begining of August 2022, now January 2023, Westone's have done absolutely nothing. Alex never responds to phone calls. I have suggested to my insurers that Westone's is never used again especially as nobody from Westone can be asrsed to respond to them either. They don't even deserve one star!!

Absolutely shocking behaviour.

Westone housing called me last week to take my £350 excess. I double checked this with the caller as she originally had entirely the wrong account. All agreed, brought our details up, paid the £350.

A week later I get a call ‘oh we made a mistake, you need to pay us another £700….’ Erm… what!?

So I’ve called them today to make a complaint and now been told I need to pay them £1500, asked to speak to a manager and had the phone put down on me!!!!!!!!

Westone are just finishing the repairs on my property after we had a flood. They've been brilliant and I couldn't have got through this drama without Jack Hearne. He's kept me up to date every step of the way, been very responsive and has talked me through all the things I don't quite understand. I'm really pleased with the quality of the work and service from Weststone - Thanks Jack & Team, you're life savers!!
