My project was only on a small scale but I was dealt with so well - both via email communication and the onsite visits - it truly felt like a premium personalised service. Your property wishes are listened to and proactively and creatively met - with lots of opportunities to discuss and provide feedback if required.

They took care of the design and planning application with my local Council excellently - their knowledge of the system both generally and locally was invaluable - I was so pleased to get planning permission!

Cannot speak too highly of how straightforward it was to work with Spitfire Architecture even with the constraints on contact caused by Covid. The design was very much in keeping with and complemented the existing Edwardian property. Spitfire successfully navigated the securing of planning and building control permissions for us and recommended builders making the whole project very easy for us.
Now construction has been completed we could not be more pleased with how it has all turned out.

Darren has provided and excellent, professional and thorough service as part of our loft conversion and ground floor reconfiguration project on our bungalow. As has been commented on in previous reviews Darren is a very friendly and approachable in his manner, and takes the time to talk through all elements of a project and provide sound advice to help inform design and build decisions.

The whole spitfire service is extremely comprehensive, but flexible as well; and Darren adapted his service to our particular needs right from the start. Darren was able to tailor his services to cater for exactly what we needed, and when.

At the start of the project, we had some initial ideas about what we wanted to achieve, and Darren took the time to work through the design with us in detail to get every part exactly right, providing advice on how achievable things were, and on what would work to keep costs within budget.

Darren was able to articulate to us clearly the process behind planning permission and building regulations applications (otherwise a somewhat inaccessible process for the layman) and guided us through each step to achieve what we wanted.

Darren has always been quick with a response and open to discussion when any questions have arisen - and has only been a phone call or e-mail away if we needed any help.

The project is currently being built, and having the consistency of a solid design and a full set of approved plans has given us the confidence we needed to press ahead with the project as designed. During the initial build stages Darren has provided support and advice on the design directly to us and to the builders, and has supported us in achieving the original plans. We are a few weeks away from completion, and are very excited to see the plans taking shape.

I would highly recommend Spitfire Architecture to anyone thinking of undertaking a project to improve their home!
