Duane came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. It has been so brilliant to finally find a tradesperson who does a great job (as many don’t). Duane can turn his hand to anything - he is so multi-skilled it’s unbelievable - and he gets round every problem smartly and competently, as well as bringing great ideas.
For us Duane re-configured a large kitchen, including new doors and windows in different positions, fitted a new kitchen beautifully, and did some extensive and tricky tiling across several areas downstairs (including awkward shelving). He also made a fantastic new porch which just about everyone in the street has commented on! Duane also fitted a new bathroom for us - again this needed a lot of work and reconfiguring, as well as damp-proofing and plastering - and it looks amazing. All his work has far exceeded our expectations.
Duane turns up when he says he will, he works very hard and nothing is too much trouble. Where there are problems he finds solutions. When we had a small leak (that wasn’t even his fault) Duane was at the door to fix it before I’d even put the phone down (late in the evening). He does a great job and is honest and reliable. We would not hesitate to give Duane a reference.
Our only regret is that we didn’t find him sooner!!!

Duane gives an amazing service. I have had experience of many builders over four decades and Duane is one of the best builders I’ve ever had!

When he says he is going to turn up, he turns up! He works at weekends and in the evening and his work ethic is first class.

He is able to do all manner of building jobs and is what I describe as an ‘old school’ builder. He can do anything! He has done beautiful work in two properties of mine which include painting and decorating, roofing, kitchens, bathrooms and plumbing. His work is immaculate. After he’s finished he leaves your property spotlessly clean. He even put in my new kitchen when I was away on holiday earlier this year and when I came back it was absolutely perfect and had been cleaned beautifully.

I cannot recommend him more highly to people wanting a good old-fashioned skilful builder. I know many of you will get quotes from different companies but I would seriously advise you to go with Duane.

My only hesitation about giving this review is that he could end up getting so busy that I will have to wait to obtain his excellent services in the future!

Berwick Property Renovations did an excellent job fully ripping out and refitting 2 bathrooms at my home in very challenging circumstances throughout the corona summer. The work was completed to a very high standard with installation of complicated fixtures and fittings, fiddly tiling and bespoke cabinetry in both spaces. Timescales were stretched at no fault of their own due to supplier delays post lock down but communication was excellent and we completed as timely as possible. I would have no hesitation recommending Berwick Property Renovations and will be working with them again on phase 2 of our home.Thanks to Duane and team.
