We contacted Matthew when we wanted to convert our double garage into a one bedroom holiday lodge. His expertise, great communication and understanding of what we required, has helped us acheive a holiday lodge to be proud of. Matthew and his team are very experienced in what they do, he also has a good network of contractors he works with. Nothing is ever to much trouble and even after the build has finished Matthew has been available whenever we have needed him, which has meant real peace of mind and I have absoutely no hesitation in recommeding Matthew Stroud and would definitely use him again.

The build quality was excellent.
I am over the moon with the work they have done. If I had any questions or concerns these were always immediately addressed. Having any building work done was always a concern with lots of disruption but Matthew and his team came up with solutions to minimise this disruption. If/when I consider having any more building work done I will get Matthew in to do it, no hesitation.

Matt and team have recently finished a large project for us, converting an old 3 bedroom bungalow to a 6 bedroom house. Matthew and his team of builders recently completed an extension for me.

The quality of the workmanship was outstanding on every level. The team kept me informed and updated at all times. The attention to detail was utterly commendable. Matthew employs complete professionals who take pride in their craftmanship and resultant work.

The team always took great care to always explain things patiently and in detail.

Matthew was just fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he could problem solve quickly with fantastic outcomes. When he said something would be done, it always was. When he said the men would be on site at a certain time, they were.

The quality of the final build was amazing and I was very pleased with it all.

Difficulties with any build, along the way, are inevitable but I was always kept up to date with dificulties being faced and how the team were going to solve them and my approval and opinion was always sought however small a difficulty was. This was important because it meant I was being kept up to date with the journey of the build from start to finish.

I cannot recommend Matthew Stroud's company more highly on every level from the initial meeting to the final sign off.

Matt Stroud and his team deserve to succeed. This family owned business is a real find for customer care, service, value for money and top quality workmanship. They recently removed all the existing 18-20 year old decaying surface of a large wrap-around deck at my coastal home.
In just two days the old had gone and the new was in place.
Nothing was too much trouble. I was consulted at every stage to make sure the result would be exactly as I wanted - which of course it was. I would not hesitate to recommend MJ Stroud to anyone who appreciates
the increasingly rare quality of customer comes first.

Initialy Matt Stroud did us a large extension and sun room on our 200 year old house and also re-laid floors and waterproofed walls in rest of the house.The job was very challenging as they had to remove a complete gable end support the existing roof then make everthing fit (lines and levels ect.) but nothing phased them and they made an exellent job and left everthing neat and tidy.
Since then we have the back to do other work and would have no problem in recomending them to anyone else.
