"I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience due to the poor service from Bristol Contractors. I found Sergei online, read his reviews, and his pricing seemed reasonable, so I decided to hire him. (Looking back, I suspect those reviews might not be genuine.)

We requested a 30kw boiler, but Sergei installed a 25kw model instead. When we questioned him, he apologised for the mix-up, and I decided to let it go. Unfortunately, the boiler soon stopped working. When we contacted the manufacturer, they repaired the boiler but informed us that it was not istalled to their specifications because the pipe was too small—it needed to be replaced with a 30mm pipe.

We reached out to Sergei multiple times over a course of five months, but he failed to schedule a visit to fix the issue. We sent letters and i even contacted Gas Safe . Eventually, he agreed to come, but after replacing the pipe, he left it improperly sealed and the socket filled with dust from his drilling, which caused water to leak into the plug socket, this could have been very dangerous cause the electricity kept tripping due to the water. Sergei then advised us to hire someone else to fix the problem and reimbursed us afterwards.

In the end, I had to hire another professional to correct Sergei’s errors and i had to continue calling him to reimburse use which he eventually did. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. While he initially appeared trustworthy, however his work and communication were highly unprofessional. Everything I’ve stated here is accurate and Sergei is fully aware of the situation. It’s unacceptable that I had to chase him repeatedly and seek advice from external sources to resolve the issues he caused.

Let this be a lesson: always do thorough research before hiring. Cheap options often end up being more expensive in the long run.

4th APRIL 2024 - I will never recommend, damaged my old boiler and not installing a new boiler

Please avoid the company, An agreement was made for the boiler conversion, the engineer came and removed the old boiler and could not install the new boiler or he doesn't know what to do. He left without fixing the new boiler or putting back the old boiler. And let us without heating in the house and I have a child at home.

Also, disconnect the gas supply to my cooker and Oven.

Please DO NOT USE THEM, They advertised on Instagram and other social media to deceive clients.

Now I have to look for another Engineer to do the job

I found them very affordable in the market with 10 years warranty. My Worcester Bosch boiler was fully installed within a day. Also did full flush of radiators in the same quote and a wireless thermostat HIVE3, very pleased with their service, I would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

This guy have fake reviews. I use them because of good reviews. All the radiators pipes are knocking bad. Poor installation. No insulation to the pipes are given. Wood pieces are not even screwed back. Even i paid him more and was expecting that they will work good as they were claiming about quality work. Even some parts are left to them. Call and text them many times to provides but totally ignored and have to buy me self. Really unprofessional behaviour. Better to avoid and safe your self from this unprofessional fitter.

Excellent service,workmanship and fittings were also clean,tidy and looked really good.We had a Valliant gas boiler which was fitted in good time and the price was some £500 cheaper than my local plumber.I highly recommend these people and our fitter Serge,even a phone call the next morning to make sure the boiler was running ok.
