We used Smith Brook Architects for a full house refurb including side return, rear extension, reconfiguring layouts and loft extension.
We have been delighted with the services provided by Lucy and her team. The care, thought and attention to detail in the plans are evident. They offered practical solutions and made sure everything flows and the house works perfectly for our family. They kept us fully updated throughout the process and made sure that the build happened to schedule.
They were excellent at negotiating with the council to ensure we got the full extension applied for.

Lucy Brooke oversaw the design and then the refurbishment of a derelict garden flat in Brixton, into a home for our son. The project was not without its difficulties, which Lucy handled in her stride. I think that she specialises in renovating Victorian type properties. I have no hesitation in recommending her as a competent and inspired architect as well as a good person..

A while ago Michael Brooke visited my house on a social occasion. I asked him if he would be able to suggest how we could do an extension to our house ( at the time I was married to his sister ). He drew a very rough sketch on a post-it note with no accuracy as to what may result. The following week I received an invoice from Michael for £500 + VAT !! Be aware of any hidden costs when dealing with him
