Thames and three others tendered for our work, the costs that came back from all builders were higher than anticipated but we chose Thames on the basis they could start the earliest(Given the huge delay during the pandemic).We met with them and asked if we could do the project in two stages and the bear bones to get it functioning, they said they would get their surveyor to review and get back to us in a couple of weeks. This was October '21. We called on numerous occasions, left voicemails, we sent emails - we never had a response back - EVER. VERY Unprofessional, we have now used different builders and they are lovely and will be finished on stage 1 in 5 weeks and, they are happy to do what we can afford and do it in two stages.
