I had a telephone conversation with Andy regarding a project I plan on doing in my back garden. He was extremely helpful and chatted with me for over half an hour. Trying to do projects like mine can be very daunting without a full understanding of what you are and aren't allowed to do. Andy was really insightful and was happy to discuss my plans with me and suggested alternative ways to look at them.

I found Andrew's services very professional. Was needing retrospective planning application. Knowledgeable, helpful and drawings produced quickly. He advised on additional areas concerning building standards and related law. Communications were good. Application successful. I found Andrew helpful.

After initial contact, my wife and myself employed the services of Andy to take on some interior work for us. We were happy with his thought, and advice on first impressions. However, after paying him £800 to draw and design the list of work we wanted for our house, we found that the communication was virtually nonexistent, and the A4 drawings he put together, were incorrectly drawn and measured. Finally after getting the measurements correct, and even after him telling us he could get a 70% discount on bathroom suites, we found that an overinflated quote was given to us. As an example, he quoted us nearly £6k plus VAT for a bathroom, yet going to Wickes and getting a quote from them was £4,400 including VAT.

So you can see he was so far off the mark. I would advise people to stay away from this company, I for one am raising a claim against them with RIBA, and hope to have my money refunded for what I see as a terrible company.

BTW I can't actually give 0 stars, if I could I would have.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! I can't believe I found out on the Spareroom that this company cooperated with the worst agent in London called Easyroom4you. Easyroom4you agent starts to use this name on Spareroom, I used to rent house from Easyroom4you ,and now It has been 1.5 month since I moved out. HOWEVER, Easyroom4you do not pay my deposit back (the contract said will pay back within 2 weeks). They keep ignoring my emails and texts. I remember on the check out date I'm waiting the agent called Chris (Christian) to collect my key face-to-face in the room, however, he was late and said he got the car accident so he cannot show up. Instead, asking me to put the room key in the mail box. I highly doubt that the excuse (car accident) was on purpose which can let him escape the face-to-face handover. Watch out these terrible people..

Easyroom4you has broken the law by not complying with Section 213 of the Housing Act 2004 which requires your rental deposit be safely protected by the law in a government-backed scheme (TDP). This means any money you give to EasyRoom4you or Room-by-Room is not safe, and can be taken from you illegally when you terminate your tenancy.

Please going to check the Google Review on Easyroom4you you will know how terrible they are, and how many people like me who cannot get deposit back. And also please check Simon's comment as well, there are some laws provided.

Without doubt the rudest person I have met whilst trying to get quotes. Very abrupt and rude and I'm not just saying this because he quoted me well above other guideline quotes I had been given by other builders/architects. Now I don't mind a bit of straight talking as I do purchasing for a living but that was ridiculous.

Absolutely awful, do not use. Started out great but then when the cracks started to show and services paid for in advance were not carried out and I asked for a refund, just kept getting fobbed off - now taking legal action to claim back my money.

Oh dear, I belatedly saw these recent reviews and am personally a victim regarding having to defend his court claim for refused fees for partly done ,undimensioned drawings we could not use for planning /building control application, and a measured survey with badly missed features or added non-existent features and being half a meter too small on one wall!
