We played with the idea for a little while about doing something with the unused loft space and it just so happened that another house in our street had just had a loft conversion. We contacted DJ Moore who arranged a viewing for us and we was blown away by the space that was achieved. Naturally thinking we would have to lose a bedroom to allow for the extra staircase but in fact the design just had to lose the airing cupboard only.

Never having done something like this before, I had a whole bunch of questions for Daniel when he came round which he was happy to answer. His responses were clear to me that he was very experienced in this area and more than reassured us which led to us signing up very soon after. He didn’t do the hard sale and was very honest and realistic about any requests we might have had. We decided on 1 large master bedroom with en-suite.

The build started on time and then everything happened so quickly. Day 1 - the scaffolding went up, Day 2 - structural steels were in place, Day 3 - the dormer was up…..These guys work quickly! Every day after returning home from work there was so much progress made each day. Best of all is that the vast majority of the initial construction is done from the outside so there was little disruption. From start to finish of the entire job was approx. 5 weeks.

We decided on a few extras/upgrades during the build including a change of the existing stairs to solid oak so Daniel sourced the products and fitted with a fair price. The quality of the finish for all aspects of the final product is very high as he uses a select set of trusted tradesmen that he has clearly used for a while.

Overall we are so happy with the final product. The space that has been created is amazing and it really feels like our own retreat up there. By far the best improvement we have made to our house.

Would highly recommend this firm. They were the most polite and respectful builders we've ever had and completed the job within 4 weeks. If we had any issues, even after completion, it never felt a bother for them to come and resolve them. The finish was to a high standard and we were genuinely pleased with their work ethic whilst in our home.

From start to finish the communication and attention to detail was second to none.
We cant thank Dan and the team enough for how quickly they put us at ease, were competitive on price and helped us adapt and change as the build came along to make sure it was right for us.
The team onsite were amazing and always happy and keen for us to see what was happening and suggest any ideas that would simply benefit us.

The thought of having a build take place over Christmas was a slight worry but again they put us first and cant thank them enough for how everything was handled.

The outcome has been the transformation of an non usable loft covered with trusses to an amazing room with so much space and storage we couldn't of hoped for any more.

From the moment we met Daniel we were sold and its one of the best decisions we have made.
We had been told by other loft companies that we couldn't have a loft conversion due to the pitch of our roof but Daniel came up with a solution and took care of everything from that moment on.
We now have 2 bedrooms and a shower room in our old loft space and the finish and attention to detail are amazing. Every single one of the team were brilliant and a pleasure to have around our house. Just over 5 weeks to make this transformation and part of the reason has to be the long hours and hard work put in at the start by Stuart and Tom - great guys.
We were actually on holiday for 2 weeks during the middle of the build but had no qualms leaving the build to them while we were away. Considering the work that had taken place the house was clean and tidy on our return.
We made some small changes and extra requests through the build and Daniel was always accommodating and happy to help or give suggestions.
We have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.
First class company and we are so happy with the finished space.

Daniel and his team worked incredibly hard to finish our loft ahead of schedule and on-budget. He accommodated our requests for additional features to make our loft a unique space exactly as we wanted it. The standard of workmanship was really high from Daniel's carpentry and structural work, right through to the plumbing, plastering and electrical work. As our house is in a conservation area, there were some specific planning requirements we had to meet, which Daniel and his architect incorporated into the design to great effect.

The site was tidied at the end of every day and everyone was friendly and professional. Everything was efficiently managed and ran smoothly and we would highly recommend DJ Moore Lofts.

I would recommend Dan and his team to anyone that is looking at having a loft conversion. We are so pleased with our finished room, the space that has been created is amazing! The whole process from start to finish was stress free and the communication from Dan and his team was brilliant. If we had any questions, Dan would ensure he got back to us right away, which always put our mind at ease.

The team are very friendly, attentive and hardworking and always arrived when they said they would. They certainly know what they are doing, we were talked through the project at different stages and Dan came up with some great suggestions along the way.
