What a fabulous use of space and transformation.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Booking in advance is better as you might get onto a group session but otherwise the bouldering and crash mats are great.

Cafe inside too so all you need and plenty of time offered in a booking.

Registration takes a few minutes so be aware of that - Be good if this could be done in advance on the website. (Apologies if it can be, we did not see)

All in all a great experience.

We went here for sons birthday as we were staying in the area, I recommend booking if there are a few of you, as you need to fill in the registration form before.
The parking is limited within the church grounds. Within our group, we had different age ranges, but the worker was great with them all, making everyone feel at ease with talking and giving advice with reassurance. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an hour and a half slot, but after the time, they could stay for as long as they wanted to climb in the area upstairs.
They sold cold and hot drinks , cakes, and pringles small pots,.
Well worth the money and definitely visit again if in the area.

Fantastic, on so many levels. The church building is just beautiful but also provides climbing walls of good height. The staff are brilliant, very kind and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my hour there so much so I and the other lady on the 1 hour experience have signed up to complete a course. A wonderful centre for families, friends, and even those going alone as the centre hold social events. A wonderful resource for the town of Carmarthen and for all.

What's a fantastic place to climb.
Great, friendly staff who were always checking that we were ok.
We came for a bouldering session and had a great time, with an awesome back drop of the church, it was something special 👊.

Visited Overhang with a couple of mates for a chilled climbing session. My first time at this establishment was brilliant. Rented the kit from the lovely staff, very reasonable price for how long we booked for.
Started on the bouldering wall. Not pestered by the staff at all, kept an eye on safety but didn't impede at all.
Then moved to the large climbing wall, and once again, staff monitored us but let us enjoy ourselves.
I've still got blisters on my feet but that's a sign we enjoyed, eh? Brilliant place, will be visiting again.

Really great climbing gym.

Good location. Great setting.

Special shout out to Luke who set the pink crimp ladder. Yeah, it's "kind of miserable" (in a good way!) but it was my favourite route of the whole session!

My first time climbing, (apart from trees as kid). Wow. What can I say; an amazing place to visit.

Located in a former church near Carmarthen town centre, the building is ideally suited for such an activity.

Upon arrival, I was welcomed by an instructor, kitted out with climbing shoes and harness.

This was a taster session, normally these are groups. However, on my visit, I was the only one on the taster session, so ended up with one to one instruction with a very friendly instructor called Rachel.

Everything was explained thoroughly by the instructor, Rachel encouraged and offered advice whenever needed.

This place offers an 8m wall, an 11m wall for roped climbs and a smaller wall for bouldering.

I will be returning and soon, I left feeling tired and covered in sweat, but with a big smile on my face. Can't wait to return.

Finally, thanks to Rachel for a great introduction to the sport of climbing.

Good climbing gym, very friendly staff. Good variety of bouldering problems although they don't seem to be changed very often, have been going for maybe 3 months now and they're still all the same. Also it's quite a small area, it only takes 4/5 people to be using the bouldering walls before it feels like you'll be getting in eachothers way.
