We contacted Dyfi Architecture to conduct two surveys in relation to listed properties we were considering purchasing. We received prompt and professional replies and the surveys were arranged quickly. Both surveys were detailed and clear, and were very helpful as we finalised our decision. Because the surveys were so comprehensive we didn't have many queries, but those we did have were answered clearly and quickly. We'd not hesitate to recommend the practice for similar surveys in future.

Not a positive review. Had a building survey. Felt positive given the website claims. However...No introduction on arrival. Spent an hour taking photos and left without saying goodbye (incredibly rude), so no opportunity to ask questions face-to-face. Conflicting advice given regards drainage. Lack of effort in responding to questions - a few word answers at best. Unsubstantiated claim regards 'evidence of bats'. Didn't feel it was worth the 925 pounds plus vat. Didn't glean much that I didn't know already, and wished I'd saved my money and gone to someone more worthy of the business who could provide more added value. Have lined up a structural engineer who I'm confident will be able to tell me far more than this surveyor/architect could do. Unlike me to post negative reviews but this experience pushed me to do it.
