Having already heard and read positive feedback for PC Hughes Construction LTD , we decided to invite them to assess, advise and provide an estimate of the internal kitchen / living room renovation. We were impressed throughout from the initial survey of the work required, the advice and communication throughout honestly was excellent. The estimate (despite some unexpected setback and extra work) ended up very close to the actual overall cost.

We are very pleased with their work and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. All trades who came to our house were professional and approachable, and always cleaned up after themselves.

Would not hesitate in recommending them if u are considering any construction or renovation. Michelle and Phil (and all the trades involved of course) THANK YOU 🤩

Looking for a builder to build what is ultimately your dream home refurb then there’s no need to look any where else

We bought the house with the intention of building onto it straight away getting in touch with Phil & Michelle was the first step and after sitting with them at the house we where able to put our dream to them and from that first meeting we felt at ease and confident that we had chose the one

The works was to split a long garage into a new utility room with WC and remove a conservatory and build a new dinning room and snug which included a full rewire and central heating system to throw in the mix

The build started and yes hidden problems arose which to Phil & Michelle weren’t a problem they where discussed solutions found and the build continued

The knowledge and skills that Phil and his team have are second to none and vital part in the build

Even with a customer who changed there minds on things now and then was not a problem

With constant communication through out before we knew it we where done and have a brilliant home

But not only did we get a forever home we got a friendship which is vitally important which continues way after they have left to move in a make another home a home

P C Hughes Construction have now completed building work on a ground floor project to convert a garage, lounge diner and kitchen into a modern, easy living, open plan home.
Phil and Michelle are a brilliant combination: Phil has many years experience and expertise, while Michelle has extensive knowledge of the trade, approaching the project with female logic and thought.
From the offset, they were always willing to advise, adapt and listen, showing resourcefulness and awareness of local suppliers and materials. They are thoroughly familiar with Building Regulations and what is needed. They have built a good relationship with a local workforce and liaised seamlessly to schedule other trades to be on site at the appropriate time.
Phil and Michelle’s standard of work is always high using good quality materials at a fair price.
They are tenacious problem solvers who kept me informed daily of their work schedule. They were a pleasure to have in my home and I always felt they worked with, not for me.
I will be forever grateful for their work, thank you so much Phil and Michelle for having such a huge input into creating my new home.

First we would highly recommend your company with out hesitation.
Michelle and Phil work seamlessly together . They organise all their contractors for each phase of our work in perfect rotation . Phil was on site early each morning to check materials and accept delivery of machinery etc in preparation for his contractors . Consequently no time was ever lost . He would always introduce each team member to us so we were aware who was on site . Even through the harshest of weathers, Michelle and Phil continued working to keep to our deadlines . We were able to celebrate our family Christmas in the extension ! Right at the beginning Michelle explained the financial plan so we were aware of when payment instalment's were due . All our garden was kept neat and tidy and the drive was regularly brushed and hosed down by Phil .
At the end of all the work we were truly sad to see everything being cleared up and then having to say our good byes !!!
We are truly delighted with the professionalism and high standards of workmanship on our extension .

From start to finish Phil and Michelle where brilliant. They where thorough, professional, polite, respectful, trustworthy and did an amazing job.
