I recently approached Rich Getley to strip and reseal my bath and shower, and to install some wooden coving to edge the tiles and ceiling and was thoroughly impressed with his work.
Having heard testimonials of his work, I expected Rich to be professional, arrive on time and with all the necessary tools.
But I didn’t expect just how tidy and meticulous he was in his work and his approach.
The work itself was smooth and watertight, with a finish that looks great and should last for years.
For the coving, Rich masked under the coving – a technique I’d not seen previously – before fitting the wooden fixtures immaculately.
This now means that I can paint without damaging the tiles or ceiling, then simply remove the masking tape. Genius!
I wish I’d known that trick 20-years ago before I renovated anything!
His friendly and approachable manner made the experience stress-free, and I appreciated that he took the time to explain what he was doing and why.
I’m very pleased with the quality of his work and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a skilled, reliable handyman.
