They selected the building contractor (who did an excellent job), and put together the contract that defined responsibilities, managed timescales, provided a schedule of works and controlled costs.
AVA were involved throughout the project and visited us regularly to ensure everything was going to plan and to address any concerns we had. Most importantly they removed a lot of the potential headaches and stress that we no doubt would have had if we were trying to manage it ourselves and were a pleasure to deal with. Karen and Ed have been great. They worked with us to develop our rough ideas into a wow factor design for our annex conversion which works really well. We live in a conservation area and the AVA team negotiated with staffs moorlands whilst keeping us involved to get planning permission. We took on the build but the approved plans with AVA arranged structural engineering input have been critical to delivering a large open plan extension to our home we can relax and entertain in.

The house works beautifully and gives us areas for relaxing alongside a sociable kitchen which has become the heart of our home. Everyone is so impressed with the spaces Karen has designed.
