Phil and Chris designed our kitchen, dining room and lounge extension in 2023, we were incredibly happy with everything Ingrain Architecture produced and did for us. They were professional, approachable and very knowledgeable in the design stages, as well as being really nice guys. Excellent experience with Ingrain Architecture from beginning to end. Our project wasn’t easy and went on for many months, both Phil and Chris were excellent communicators and were always on hand to consult with when needed. Phil and Chris did a brilliant job in designing and planning the renovation and extension of our seaside cottage in a conservation area location. I couldn’t recommend Phil and Chris highly enough. From the outset, they were really engaged and went to great lengths to understand exactly what we wanted from our project. Their design was spot on, and their recommendations - whether technical, layout or materials - were always well-placed and invaluable. Several different tradesmen on the build also commented on the quality of their drawings/specifications. Their fees were very reasonable too and, unlike so many experiences that you hear about with architects, they were incredibly responsive to any queries that we had and always on the end of the phone if needed. Professional qualities aside, they are just very nice people with a lovely manner. Highly recommended.

I've had the pleasure of engaging Phil and Chris on a couple of very small domestic projects at my home and on a much bigger and quite complex work related project.
