We asked Lindsey at Hedgehog Architects, to help us get planning permission for a full internal refurbishment and rear extension on our home, which is in a conservation area—so not without its challenges! She has been fantastic throughout: creative, thoughtful, and really easy to work with. From the initial design to adapting the brief as things evolved, she guided us through every step—including liaising with the structural engineer and getting building control sign-off. It’s been a huge help having someone so reliable and experienced on board.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Lindsey at Hedgehog and cannot recommend them highly enough. They came recommended from a friend and I'm so pleased I took their advice. Lindsey is very quick to respond and is super knowledgeable about all of the intricacies and processes that you have to go through when doing a renovation. She has guided us through this whole (sometimes gruelling) process and I've loved the vision that she has for our house. Can't wait for it to be finished and see it come to life and share a celebratory champagne with Lindsey in our lovely new kitchen!

Lindsey and her team have been an immense help. After sadly become wrapped up with a dodgy builder, I needed support in getting the appropriate sign-offs at the end of the project. Lindsey was thoughtful, diligent, extremely quick to respond and completely professional. Hedgehog Architects were recommended by our builder & successfully obtained both our planning permission & building regulations certificate. We really enjoyed collaborating with them on the planning ideas & were impressed with their attention to detail on the building regs drawings.
Obtaining planning permission can be a convoluted & frustrating process but we felt that Hedgehog were with us every step of the way & would recommend them highly.
