We engaged Verity & Lawrence at V&L Architects to help us unblock our perpetual (13 year!) cycle of not knowing how to get more light into our dark and dismal kitchen/diner. They listened carefully to how we used the space and what we thought we wanted. However, their fresh and talented perspective was just what we needed. And their 3-stage design process gave us lots of options. Options we hadn't previously considered.

The V&L team have remained onboard throughout the build, regularly coming to site to check progress and answer questions. Very reassuring having them on hand.

Verity and Laurence were excellent from the start. We had never under taken any building work before and they held our hand throughout the whole process from start to finish.
From the initial planning stages they presented many ideas, listening to our needs as well as sharing ideas we hadn’t considered. They took into account our budget and cleverly phased our project for us, ensuring our house would feel complete even if all our plans weren’t carried out at once. They produced detailed designs and even used 3d images to help us visualise the project.
They recommended an excellent builder and verified building work alongside invoices . Communication throughout was fantastic - clear and with regular updates.
A great company with great vision. We are very happy with our end result of phase 1 of our project.
