ADCO were very helpful and put a great deal of time and trouble into what was a relatively small chimney rebuild. The bricks they discovered are an excellent match and the end result is a chimney that looks solid and attractive.

Adco were our builders for a 4 meter 1 1/2 storey extension, on a very small site.
The build was from late October to mid May during the wettest winter on record.

Highlights:

- Seeing the roof finial in the shape of a dragon in time for Christmas meant the new build was water tight
- Adco chasing British Gas on the phone for most of a day to arrange Electrical and Gas meter moves
- Paper work was good from the start - schedules and costings well defined
- The contractors and Adco staff were all very pleasant, courteous and helpful
- The contractors' work was all to a very high standard

Lower lights:

- Due to absences and sick leave the schedules slipped as contractors were not always given enough notice
- We often did not know if work or deliveries  were scheduled for any given day
- Regular site visits (as opposed to phone/text/email contact) would have helped with minor misunderstandings and clarifications
- We felt Adco failed to appreciate the impact living on site had on us

Would I recommend them?

- Yes. A project of this size definitely needed professional project management. It was expensive but would have cost much more both in time and money if we'd done it ourselves.

Couldn’t have asked more from ADCO construction! They assisted us in the removal of a large wall in the kitchen and the installation of a worktop making our kitchen/ back room into a large kitchen diner.
We had regular contact with the management prior to the work, the quote was very reasonable and they managed to start the work quickly despite running another much larger contract at the time!
The finish and attention to detail was superb and they left the whole kitchen area totally spotless. In fact we were so happy with the work completed we asked them to create a door from the garage through to the house straight away, this was completed immediately and again with an immaculate finish

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ADCO to family or friends and will look forward to using them again for any future work on our house.

ADCO Construction went above and beyond to keep our build (a single story rear extension + first floor side/rear extension) going through the Covid lockdown and have completed all the work to a very high standard.
Hass and Anouar were always very friendly and polite, and always kept us up to date throughout the works. They solved problems on the build with innovative and creative approaches, and contributed additional design details that have really added to the high finish achieved. We are absolutely delighted with the end result.
