An excellent payroll company.
I get a text each week before I’m paid.
There is always a personal response to my emails, within 24 hours.
The portal to access my payslips and p60 is easy to navigate, unlike some other payroll companies I could mention.
The agreement to withhold a portion of my pay each week means I get holiday pay which is great for budgeting.
Everything is done to make my life easier.
The agency I’m working for gave me the option to invoice them direct or to use People Group Services. I’m so glad I chose the latter!

I came across a lot of teachers that didn’t receive a furlough payment or received it after being told they were not going to get anything. I was not one of those people (no stress), which is all thanks to People Group. They made the procedure as simple as it could be. Also, they ensured I received the highest amount for my furlough payment. Whenever I have had questions regarding my account, they have answered them swiftly and honestly. They hold themselves accountable for every penny. Keep up the good work! You absolute legends!

BE VERY CAREFUL. BEFORE JOINING PEOPLE GROUP SERVICES REMEMBER THESE THINGS:

1. Count the number of hours you work every day. Your agency will offer you a daily rate and they will pretend that you only work 6 hour days. In reality you will work longer than this, and your agreed daily rate might fall below the national minimum wage. Do not expect them to make the adjustments, even if you are submitting timesheets that clearly state the number of hours you are working.

2. Even as an agency worker, you are LEGALLY ENTITLED to holiday pay. People Group Services will try to subtract your holiday pay from your daily rate. Do not let them do this.

DON'T SELL YOURSELVES SHORT. These agencies rely on their young, naive employees not asking any questions, not knowing their rights, and not having the confidence to stand up to them. You have rights. Don't forget that.
