I can’t recommend Andrew from Mash Architecture highly enough. He stepped into the breech mid-project as my previous architect was really struggling to deliver. Andrew injected much needed enthusiasm along with a wealth of truly inspired ideas that took my plans to another level. Since that first project I’ve turned to him on two further occasions and he never fails to deliver with his unique brand of inventive, friendly professionalism. Highly Recommended!

Unfortunately whilst Andrew is a nice guy, I have been very disappointed with his service as an architectural technician and designer. Initial ideas were OK, but his responsiveness is poor. He has struggled to meet deadlines on the project I hired him for. He promises to get back on commitments but then goes quiet and is very difficult to get hold of. I'm not sure if Andrew gave me 100% when thinking of floor plan designs because the final one I settled on was actually the idea of my kitchen designer. Once I had the plans in hand, they seemed to be of decent quality, but before the build, it became apparent that unfortunately one of the measurements in the survey was wrong, and this would affect my kitchen and WC design. Good thing I double checked, but when paying a professional, I should not have needed to. I have currently been waiting more than a week for the amended drawings to correct the mistake that was made. Bottom line - nice guy, difficult to get angry at, perhaps that's the problem because he then gets away with providing at times a substandard client service. I wish I had paid more and gone with a proper architect firm.
EDIT: I pointed out the error in the plans and Andrew made two site visits and six weeks later I have the amended plans in hand.

The other subsequent reviews seem favourable, so perhaps my experience was a one off. I hope so. After discussing this with Andrew he assures me that he has taken steps to improve his responsiveness and timeliness with further clients.

Do not use Andrew Teece services, he is unreliable, untrustworthy. Will turn up to measure your house, take a deposit for drawings only to never be seen or heard from again. Has various companies Mash Architectur was the company we were recommended but AJT ARCHITECTURAL LTD (14170384) seems to be his next endeavour.

*** update since I can not reply to your comment... from visiting our Property and stating you would have drawings to us within a week, after numerous phone calls and messages where you did not answer your phone or respond, (over 5 weeks) it took my husband calling you on a different number for you to apologise but still not to send the drawings within an agreed deadline, only to send us the drawings once a review was created. This is we feel is a significant amount of time and a true reflection of our experience.

His knowledge of the planning reg's was in depth which was beneficial on our complex conversation and from start to finish he was always on hand to deal with any of our queries. Very impressed with this service. After providing us with some really innovative design ideas, we received a very concise and detailed set of design drawings, coupled with excellent & prompt communication throughout. Andrew had an excellent knowledge of planning law and was able to give us some really useful information with regards to building costs and also a lot of help in eventually appointing our builder. He certainly made the whole process of extending our home a lot easier than it could have been, and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mash for anyone wanting to extend or rennovate their home.
