Having used this first class company in 2015, I did not hesitate to use them again for a set of garage doors for my daughter in December 2024. As always Richard Lymer measured up in record time, provided advice, expertise and general all round know how, which was all very reassuring.
The installers Jack and Ashton are grafters, who took no rest periods, dealt with tricky brickwork and brackets, worked in the rain and kept me abreast of progress.
Lauren, Joanne and all office staff were also polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. Booking arrangements were smooth, costs were reasonable and easy to administer..
It really feels like a family firm, so well done everyone at Lymer Doors.

My folks had Lymer Doors fit a replacement to his up and over garage door with a remote control roller door. This was a couple of years ago and Lymer are still looking after things for my elderly Mum. The service is top class. Amy and Joanne are tops on their customer service. We just has the unit serviced as it’s been a few years and the chaps who came out were very polite and professional.

I don't normally do reviews but I have had some great advice prior to order, prompt service and a great job done at a price I am happy with. A new, extra secure Garage door, 4 point locking system. They didn't leave any mess, even cleared the concrete ramp and dropped the keys at a different location when they were done. Well pleased.

I received excellent service from Lymers when replacing my old timber garage doors. Following a home visit to measure up I was offered a number of options and visited the showroom at Leek where Joanne spent time with me explaining how different garage doors worked. Joanne found exactly what I was looking for and organised the purchase of my new timber doors, expertly fitted by Joe. I would highly recommend the team at Lymers: a warm welcome, great communication, quality products, good prices and excellent workmanship. Had a panel with a cat flap fitted, they were able to accommodate around our life schedule and did a fantastic job. The panel has been in since earlier this year and made such a difference for our cats. The finish is amazing and looks like it has always been there. They were able to match the colour to our original door so it doesn't look out of place.

Excellent service from Lymer Doors. We needed a motor, remotely operated, to open and close our existing 'up-and-over' canopy door on our double garage. Within a few days of us placing the order, two men showed up and in a couple of hourse the job was done!

Stay well clear of Lymer Doors.
We had a garage door fitted by them (they buy them in and do not make them).
It failed after a short period of time and whilst the engineer advised it was a mechanical issue as the brackets where not big enough Lymer are chasing payment of £120. £90 of which is a call out fee.
Disgusting attitude - they only care about making a few quid. Zero empathy and even less customer service. Go elsewhere or you’ll regret it should anything at all go wrong, which it probably will.

Edit (due to their lies below)… the straps did not fail due to an obstruction but due to a defective product - as advised by your engineer. That’s why he fitted larger straps as the smaller ones were not fit for purpose. You have not offered a reduced call out charge either. You have just waived the cost of the straps because they were not suitable. Why should a customer pay labour costs to have product repaired which was defective. Baffles me.
