I wasn't looking forward to moving 14 x 25kg bags of gravel from the front garden to the back garden. Steve, the driver, said it could be dropped over the back fence from the back lane even though there was a 5' drop. Well done Longwater **********

These very nice people have exceptional service, especially Steve who has gone beyond his duties.

I rang, today, to see if Longwater had any 20mm gravel. It was Steve who answered. I asked the question and Steve said yes it was in stock. I asked for seven bags and also asked if it could be delivered? Steve replied that it was unusual, as it is a small order, could I pick it up instead? I replied that as I have Parkinson's it would be a problem.

When Steve heard my reply, he said no problem and that the order would be delivered tomorrow morning, 04/11/23. About an hour passed and there was a knock on the front door, it was Steve who brought my order in his own car.

Went into this shop for a plumbing fitting then popped next door to look at a car at the car dealer when I returned to my car a short rotund grey hair man came out of a side door and aggressively verbally abused me and my wife for parking on one of his spaces their was no other cars in his car park or customers in his shop, my wife was nearly crying. I have since found out this is the same chap who used to own the builders merchants before its recent two name changes but still works there! What a horrible small man. I’m nearly seventy but had I had been 15 years younger I would have left him sat on the floor. Avoid this establishment if he had asked politely I would have told him I had just spent money in his business. Small minded, small person syndrome shame really as his staff were very polite and helpful.

Always find everyone very helpful.I have had several deliveries of different types of gravel they deliver when they say it's free to Sleaford area and it's cheaper than any of the more advertised companies.They need to improve advertising that's all!.

Used on several occasions for different drainage fittings. Staff have always been helpful, friendly, and willing to take you to the items you need which is helpful since the layout change from DBAS.
