In 2023 I contracted BLB Company Ltd to build an extension to our house. I needed a company with experience with period properties to match limestone, Crittal windows and other period features with the rest of the house.
I was very pleased with the professional way the project was competed. Excellent communication and budget management. The project manager was very proactive to developing solutions when issues with the design plans arose.
I was once told by a friend that “ it is a miracle if you are still talking with your builders at the end of the project”. Well we are still speaking and I would have no reservations in recommending Best Little Building Company!

The BLBC team have been a pleasure to work with over the past couple of years as they built our bespoke new build family home to an exacting standard.
The working relationship between them, as main contractor, and us, as client, has been both collaborative and professional throughout.
Each and every employee brought a genuine detailed consideration to their particular field of expertise. Their collective mentality, helpful opinions and craftmanship has enhanced the end product to a level that satisfied our high expectations.

BLB did the first stage of our renovation back in 2017 and were amazing. Jamie was extremely helpful and cheery, coping with the changing of plans as we discovered what the house needed, and saved us five-figures worth of cash with super sensible suggestions. They came back again to do the second stage, and Lydia ran it perfectly, again managing to deal with the quirky needs of our old house, and the difficulties of sourcing stuff post Brexit. I have recommended them to numerous friends in the area, and all have been happy. At some stage we will need to do the last stage of our renovations/extensions and I wouldnt go to anyone else. Throughout the whole process, the entire team were happy, helpful and mindful of the fact we had a small family- my son has some great photos with the team on the various diggers etc!
