As well as boats, there are 3 holiday cottages at the boatyard. We stayed in Happy Days. It is cosy, quiet and warm and has the beautiful views fronting onto the river. The staff are lovely - really welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay and have already booked our next holiday.

What a fantastic experience the staff are absolutely fantastic taught me everything that I needed to know from the start We have an absolutely fantastic day out in the Sun. The boat was fantastic. No problems what so ever come back and brought some merchandise to support the local family run business. Will be definitely booking again 5* all day long

We hired electric Jackie for the day and it was a wonderful day out. Instructions were clear and it was an easy and gentle ride down to Thorne Mill for a pub lunch before mooring up at South Walsham broad to watch the wildlife (Grebes, Herons and the obligatory ducks). Highly recommend Martham Boats.

Me and my family have been hiring yachts from Martham boats for 40 odd years. I highly recommend this family run boat yard. Beautiful traditional broads yachts and motor cruisers with very helpful and welcoming staff.

Hired Broadland Minstral for 2nd year running recently. Can't fault them. Awesome family run company so friendly and professional. So efficient with meeting us to get under the bridge! 5 days of going 4mph.....bliss!!

Hired Judith 3 a lovely vintage cruiser… couldn’t have wished for a better holiday… the boat was lovely… attracted a lot of admiration… very comfortable with everything you could need… staff at the boat yard were brilliant… helpful and informative from start to finish

We hired sailing yacht 'Scarlet Lady' for a week and it was perfect. Excellent vessel and well equipped with all we needed. I was also very impressed with the booking and customer service. I'll definitely be back.

We hired a lovely boat called 'Jackie' for the day and have a great time. The boat is very sweet, traditional and practical Everybody at Martham Boats was really helpful and friendly. We went down to Thurne and moored up in front of the windmill. Lots to see on the way, we'll definitely be back to explore more of the broads.
