1st time using David after looking at online reviews.

Totally recommend! Carried out a full boiler service and also quickly fixed an issue with 3 radiators that weren’t functioning correctly. Informative, honest, down to earth and nothing was too much trouble.
Coming back soon to sort a couple of other issues.
Now my ‘go to’ for any heating and plumbing issues.

David came to install a new heating system in our home in April 2025. Once he’d visited us, (on a Sunday morning no less!), to work out what the problem was he was so quick to send over a quote and then despite an already very busy schedule David went above and beyond to fit us in so we could get our hot water back. When he came to do the work he was hard working, friendly, courteous, professional and so kind; I don’t think I’ve ever seen a professional work so hard to solve a problem! He was also so patient and kind to my children, they absolutely loved having him around. If you want a reliable, friendly, professional plumber who will go above and beyond look to David! Will 100% be recommending; he’s now on speed dial for any plumbing needed although I’m sure that we won’t be seeing him for a while as he’s done the most excellent job! Many many thanks David!

Contacted David to enquire about work for my Mothers heating system.
David gave a quick response and inspected for the planned work the same day.
The quote was returned quickly and the price was sensible.
David kept good contact throughout the process and the works were carried out to a high standard.
Being an ex tradesman myself I was impressed with his reliability and politeness.

An absolutely outstanding plumber. Showed great patience, tenancity and wisdom to track down the source of a water leak in the garage. Once detected David then successfully repaired the leaking pipe and got thoroughly soaked in the process. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Simply one of the best plumbers you will come across.

He diagnosed the repair that was needed and was also able to fix a longstanding issue with our flue - both issues may have been dangerous for my family and, at a busy time of year, David acted quickly to remedy both. We've all had the issue where we have tried to find a reliable tradesperson... Even harder for a small job and when it needs to be done quickly. We needed to get our boiler flue replaced and have a service agreement with Valliant but apparently they don't do that. We got Dave Banfield's details from a friend and contacted him. Honestly outstanding from start to finish. I contacted him on a Wednesday..... 'Of course I can help' he told me. He came round on the Saturday, had a look and told me he'd need to call Valliant and check the part and he'd call back Monday. He did that, got what he needed and fitted it Thursday. He could have done it sooner but Valliant had to come back sooner and fix something before he started. One of the best experiences I have ever had with this sort of thing.
