We recently hired RJH for a single-story extension on our home, where we had two rooms knocked through and extended out. From start to finish, the experience was great. One of our key requirements was to avoid having a pillar in the room, which required installing a larger-than-usual steel beam. RJH handled this challenge brilliantly.

Any queries we had throughout the project were handled efficiently and the team communicated with us regularly, ensuring that everything was progressing smoothly.

The final result exceeded our expectations – the new space is seamless and spacious, just as we envisioned.

It’s tricky to pin down just one reason why we were pleased to have RJH build our extension for us. The design had one or two technical challenges such as a vaulted roof and a large unsupported span, which resulted in our not being comfortable with an average supplier.
However, we are pleased to say that in addition to their professional expertise we also felt we got good value for money and a good quality finish.
The entire team were a pleasure to deal with and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

My greatest regret that I choose RJH to do our kitchen extension and renovation. I selected them when a post came through the door and read the reviews. Alas---all that glitters is not gold! I was unlucky! They are very unprofessional, untidy and lack of vision. They deliberately keep the quote low and then demand money for every little things. For a 3x3 sq m extension and a kitchen renovation work they took 6 months. They recruited few people in the process for different jobs but there seems to have a lack of communication between them and the office. Unfortunately, they did not give project end date and a written warranty for the work--although I asked many times they simply ignored. Their workmanship is in question, lack detailing and perfection! Not even 6 months after they finished the job, the kitchen cabinet door is falling apart, internal bifold door stuck and the floor is giving rattling sound. Every little thing we had to ask and wait--very frustrating!. Most of the troubles came from the Plumber Ian (I.A.Moreland Ltd) whom RJH recruited and they did a very substandard unfinished job and ultimately I had to recruit another plumber to finish the job---what a shame! Recently, I contacted them for a broken integrated dishwasher door and the office demanded for unscheduled money which was never in the initial quote and they refused to fix the problem which is in warranty period.

All-in-all be careful before you dip your toes!

RJH Have recently completed a big alteration to my kitchen by converting two rooms and a garage into a beautiful open plan kitchen complete with bifold doors and French doors. I have had a great deal of work done by them and also the sub contractors which they use. There has always been someone to answer my calls when I have telephoned the office. The builders which RJH employ have been really good workers and the building work has been completed to a high standard. The subcontractors they have used have all been high quality and workmanship excellent. Everyone from the people in the office to the labourers were polite, pleasant and helpful.
If you are looking for a quality finish to any building work you need doing, I would highly recommend them

We have recently had RJH to complete a single storey wrap around extension to our home to create an ipen plan kitchen/diner/living space with downstairs shower room and utility. The work also comprised internal remodelling and full refurbishment through the hallway and stairs.
The finish to the work is excellent, we are so happy with the final result. There was always someone on hand to answer queries and the operatives were always so polite. We fully recommend RJH.
