Pete and Mike designed our extensive home renovation which, with 4 young children and living in the house at the same time as all the building work, was a brilliant design over 2 phases.

Footprint effectively designed one half of our house whilst we lived in the other, then flipped it so we could move into the new part and renovate the second half.

Mike interpreted our (very scarce) brief brilliantly and created our stunning forever home which blends in beautifully with its surroundings, yet has some pretty radical materials used such cement sheet cladding and a bespoke, western cedar timber roof!

We engaged Footprint at the end of 2019 to try and refresh the 70's property we had just bought and, as we near the end of the project, it's been a very good experience (pandemic allowing) working with Peter, Mike and the rest of the team. Being in the New Forest then the planning process was a little challenging but Footprint guided us through the hoops and came up with a final design that worked for everyone. As we have a team of builders we know and trust then we didn't engage Footprint to manage the project but they have been on hand when questions have come up and have been an invaluable part of the team. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Hi we reached out to Footprint in October 2019. This was before we made a decision to buy a detached property, which we knew would need a substantial extension and conversion. We work closely primarily with Mike Ford from conception right through to project completion. We found Mike extremely helpful and informative throughout. Mike was also extremely flexible and responsive to our numerous queries and clarifications. Mike and his team took what was a very sketchy concept and enhanced this into what was an amazing design. Mike was there for us throughout the building stages, liaising with our contractor, the Municipality Planning department, Building Regs and so many other associated organisations and companies. We engaged the team at Footprint to design and plan our extension. We had been told by various people in advance that it would be a challenging job due to the site location and access. In addition, while my wife and I had a general idea about wanting an extension, we had no clear ideas on how to fit in all our requirements into one build. Footprint immediately understood our project and their very first design was beyond what we could have imagined. Of the architects we invited to pitch for our project Footprint’s response was by far the most comprehensive. The level of detail was incredible and allowed us to give potential builders a very precise specification. We believe it was this attention to detail that meant our project was completed exactly to time and exactly on budget. Our experience with Footprint demonstrated that a good architect can not only design your dream house, but they can save you time and stress as well

Total failure ,no drawing for over 9 months , demands of payment up front , minimalist approach/lack of care towards to customers. We end up moving house instead making extension due massive delay and no time frame for service! Please avoid it if you wish to keep you fiancé under control and go ahead with plans with family home extension , even after we informed them in December that we sold the house as we unable to wait longer for drawing they all of the sudden completed and send us over z Christmas and thret with Kigali action if we not pay invoices one was ove 5 k and another 2 k , Astonishing lack of care and respect !!! They course a lot of emotional and financial female to all our family
