Studio Werc have provided project management services for the renovation of my flat, located in 1870s building in a conservation area. The work encompassed total re-plumbing, rewiring, air conditioning installation, new roof insulation, some new windows, removal of some dividing walls and the fitting out of completely new interiors.
Studio Werc were highly professional and in total control of the building contract. They liaised with the builder at regular intervals and resolved any building issues at speed and with great competence.
They secured the Planning Permission and were instrumental in obtaining Licence to Alter and all other required permits, promptly and smoothly.
In addition, they provided useful design input which contributed to successful outcome of the project.
I strongly recommend them for project management and architectural services.

Rob was so fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted and needed from the build and accommodated this perfectly into the plans. The design was something different to what is normally seen in our area but elements were added to keep it sympathetic to the surrounding houses (for example stone work and gable ends). We live in Lincolnshire and found that the local architect’s style is often somewhat ‘traditional’. We wanted to work with an architect who had a much more modern vision and we loved the look of Studio Werc’s previous projects. Aside from providing us with the obvious (architectural drawings!), Rob was enormously helpful with suggesting ideas and inputting into the final design for our barn conversion. He mapped out where all of our light fittings should go around the house, he encouraged us to keep wider corridors in areas whereby we’d have opted for larger rooms without his advice (thanks Rob as we’re so pleased we listened to you on this!)… just so many little details that make an enormous difference to the finished look and feel of a home. It felt like an architectural come interior design service wrapped into one. We loved working with Studio Werc & would 100% recommend them!

We worked with Ed on a ground floor renovation and extension in SW11. We’re now mid-way through the build and very happy with the design which we would have not have thought of ourselves. Ed’s plans are incredibly detailed which has ensured the builders have clarity on things such as electrical plans, door and window specs etc so I wasn’t overwhelmed with questions.
