We had an extension built by Chris
and his team. They were a pleasure to have around and were always polite and respectful. The site was left tidy at the end of each evening which made things a lot easier. I cannot fault Chris and his team and would highly recommended. They have transformed a very tatty porch (single skin, metal windows, sagging roof) into a very smart utility. The workmanship is to the highest standard at a reasonable cost. All trades came as agreed, were polite, tidy and professional, going above and beyond where necessary (with a tricky round window & second hand door to fit!), leaving no mess whatsoever. A joy to work with.

Chris and his team recently built a one storey extension and installed a new kitchen in our home. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all his team were polite, helpful and conscientious.
Their work was to a high standard and they were also tidy, clearing up at the end of each day.

Has some minor stud walls installed. They were on time and speedy. Left everything clean at end of everyday. Kept me up to date on progress and informed of one v minor delay of a day with plastering. Finish is good quality and I have had no issues at all with work. Will use again if I ever need any building work done.

We are very happy with the work completed recently by Chris and his team. This is the second time we have used Chris James Building Services and each time we have experienced a high quality of work and, on each project, going above and beyond expectations. The crew were exceptionally polite, respectful , always there when they said they would be and worked very hard and to the best of their abilities. Totally reliable and very pleasant and friendly. The site was left tidy and clean every day, and when I say site, I really mean the interior of our home. They made what could have been a bad experience, a really, really good one. What’s not to like? We have no reservations about engaging Chris James Building Services and we wish that other companies emulated these high standards. We have absolutely no concerns about recommending the company.

We wanted a garage conversion and kitchen extension, and Chris who couldn’t have been more helpful. From start to finish Chris and James were friendly, chatty, not pushy, helpful, and above all, Tidy!!!! Every day the place (inside and out) was left cleaned and tidy before they left. They were great with ideas and suggestions when we didn’t know what we wanted and nothing was ever too much trouble. The quality of work was fantastic and all the various contractors that Chris used were just as good.
So far we have yet to find any reason not to be completely satisfied with the whole job. We can’t thank Chris and James enough.
