We purchased a brand new mixer bucket for a Volvo 14 tonne excavator. On delivery the service hoses were 150mm too short and the coupling would not fit the standard Volvo hitch. On contacting the company, I was informed that these were standard hoses to fit this specific machine (which was not correct), and I was told to grind the coupling down to suit (which was all at my cost). After the first trial, the main seal burst in the pump, I was informed by Exac-One Ltd that my flow and pressures were incorrect on the excavator. I had Volvo UK check the pressures (again at my own cost) and everything was as it should have been. On taking the pump to a hydraulic company for inspection, I was informed that there was no flow return fitted which was the main problem, after giving this information to Exac-One Ltd I received an offer of £240 in compensation, which I believe was unacceptable for the time which this machine was unusable and all the trouble it caused.
All in all I would not recommend this company to anyone, too many mistakes made.
